Hey everyone,

Happy Spring! 🌸 After a long and harsh winter, it’s finally time to get back out on the field—and we couldn’t be more excited for another softball season!

The North Pocono Bombers are currently looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our coaching staff at the 8U and 10U levels. This is a great opportunity to help young athletes grow, learn the game, and most importantly, have fun while building confidence and teamwork.

Whether you’re a seasoned softball veteran or simply someone who enjoys working with kids and supporting our community, we’d love to have you involved.

Hi all:

It seems that we have a bit more weather than expected already, but we are still planning to move forward with the camp.

We just ask that each family use their own discretion. If you choose to not attend because of your concern over the safety of the roads, we completely understand. Again, please use your own discretion in deciding whether you will attend or not.

Good Evening:

The ASA board has been closely monitoring the weather during tomorrow's anticipated softball camp at Tanfield's cages in Covington. The latest reports demonstrate that the bulk of the storm is not set to hit until approximately 1pm, so we are going to continue with our plan for the camp from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. We will continue to monitor the weather into the morning. If there are any updates, we will post on our page, and send an email before 9:00 am. Fingers Crossed!!!!

The address for Tanfield's is:
8 Sawmill Lane
Covington Township, PA. 18424

This is essentially a log-mill. Drive into the parking lot, and to the large building in the back. You should see our cars parked there. The door will be on the Right Side of the building. If you encounter any problems, here is a cell phone to call: (570) 780-6034.

Remember that participants should bring the following:
1. Glove
2. Fielding Face Mask
3. Hitting Helmet
4. Bat (if you don't have a bat, we will have something to use)
