San Luis Valley Swordguild; Historic Fencing Club SLV Sword Guild is the San Luis Valley's first HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts) club. We look forward to training with you!

We are the San Luis Valley's first Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) club, dedicated to the study and practice of the martial arts of Europe from the Middle Ages and Renaissance. Our club is made up of a diverse group of individuals who are passionate about learning and preserving the martial traditions of the past. Our focus is on the longsword, sword and buckler, and dussak, mostly within

the German tradition. Additionally, we use experimental archaeology to study and practice techniques like sword and shield combat and axe fighting. Whether you are a seasoned martial artist or a beginner, we welcome you to join us in our journey to learn and practice the martial arts of the past. Our club offers a supportive and welcoming environment for all skill levels. We hope you will join us at one of our training sessions and become a part of the SLV Sword Guild community.

🍂❄️A New Season of Fencing!🗡️
As the chill sets in, we’re bringing our practices indoors to the cozy and welcoming Dune Valley Distillery. Starting this Thursday, and every Thursday all winter long, you can join us for historic fencing and community fun.

🕕 When: Thursdays, 6-8 PM
📍 Where: 5301 Terry St, Mosca, CO 81146

🌟 While we train and spar, the distillery will be serving delicious food and drinks—perfect for spectators, friends, and family to enjoy a warm evening out. 🍔🥂
