Register today for our 27th Annual Iron Man tournament!

5 Courses, 100 Holes in 1 day! Can YOU survive 100 holes? Test yourself and become the most POWERFUL disc golfer in the Peoria-area: PFC's Iron Man!

This is a PFC Fundraiser event. PFC's mission is to develop, grow, and maintain the sport of disc golf in the Peoria area. The money raised through PFC's is used to acquire equipment for new courses, maintenance tools for keeping courses clean, merchandise and clinics for youth, and more!

This event brings about our special 28-hole layout at Northwood Black, turning the Short Layout into an even more scoreable track! You can check it out on UDisc today under the "2023 PFC Ironman" classic layout, complete with a map. We have also organized central transportation so players can truly relax in between rounds, save money on gas, and talk up their past rounds with fellow disc golfers! Additional prizes are in the works, and we are always looking for sponsors!

You can register on Disc Golf Scene (link below), and we appreciate your continued support of Peoria-area disc golf!

PFC has been able to accomplish a lot since its founding due to the passion of its members. The Peoria disc golf scene has grown to nearly 40 courses! We couldn’t be more excited for the growth of our sport here, but this expansion does come with its own challenges. We can always use help!

Does this sound like you?
- I’m super close to my local course!
- My friends and I go out on the regular to shoot a disc golf round!
- I’m proud of my home course and want to show it off!
- I would love to get more involved with the disc golf community!
- The park is great, but sometimes there are things I could fix or change.

PFC is full of people like you who want to make a difference AND enjoy the pastime of disc golf. We are looking for passionate individuals to “adopt” a disc golf course: check in on occasion, give it some of your attention, call in some help from us when needed, but most importantly enjoy it and share it with your community!

There are many members of the community who may already be doing this and PFC wants to recognize these awesome people! Our influence has been fueled by hundreds of volunteers who have given thousands of hours of their precious time and we want to be able to give something back. If course adoption sounds interesting to you, reach out! We can answer many of your questions about your course, what may be needed, and how PFC can return the favor.

Our Endless Thanks,

PFC Board of Directors

Who is Peoria Frisbee Club?

Peoria Frisbee Club is a Not For Profit disc golf organization dedicated to nurture the sport of disc golf in Central Illinois, but it is made by its people.

You can see who is making a difference on our Disc Golf Scene page here:

Taking the initiative in 1980, Marshall Hopkins officially founded PFC as the Non-Profit in 1981. Every year PFC has operated, a board of 5 members at a minimum have collaborated to fulfill the legacy that this Club has established. Most recently we have Andrew Wallen, Paul Mulholland, Dalton Sackett, Zach Rebholz, Garry Patton, Dan Sebald, Cecil Burkhart, and Payton Drake to thank for this year. We don't want to stop there!

If you served on the Board of Directors for PFC, please comment below! Better yet, if you know someone who has, tag them in the comments and let's give our current and former Directors our gratitude!

*Thank you for your past and continued service!*

Let’s go, PFC!!!

A huge thanks to the guys who came out this morning to Megiddo for storm cleanup! 8 guys using 6 chainsaws swept through the course and made short work of the dozens of fallen trees and branches. Colin Anderson, Jeff Duval, James Abernathie, Kip Taufer, Zach Rebholz, Cecil Burkhart, Dalton Sackett, and Payton Drake.

If you saw the course before the cleanup and you make your way back through there again, let us know in the comments what you think!

Let’s keep the sport going, together!

The 2024 Ironman was a great success! Here are some stats that capture the magnitude of the event:

As a group, 23 people made
- 7243 throws
- totalling 130 miles of distance
- while walking 330 miles
- and climbing 7360 feet of elevation!

You can check out the stroke results on Disc Golf Scene, but here are some of the major achievements of the event! Congratulations to the 18 who finished the entire 100 holes, but thanks to all who participated and contributed!

This could not have happened with the support of Powergrip USA and Underdog Sports, our awesome vendors! We can all thank them by visiting in store and picking up their latest merchandise!

1 month down! As of today, we have 42 registered PFC Members for the 2024 year! These people are actively supporting PFC's mission to educate and develop the sport of disc golf in the Peoria area, and we are very grateful for that!

This year is bringing about a new level of organized events! We can always use extra hands for a variety of things, such as volunteer for maintenance days, organize a clinic, fundraise with local businesses, admin our digital resources, and more. If you are looking to get involved, visit our page and send us a message!

Our desire is to empower members of the community to do their own thing to help keep the mission going. Click through the Disc Golf Scene link below to register to be a 2024 PFC Member!
