You asked for it and here it comes! The NEW and IMPROVED Indoor Cycling Races. New for this season, we have partnered with the Ohio Senior Olympics to make this an Ohio Senior Olympic winter event. We are expanding to 5-year age groups to align with USA Cycling and Ohio Senior Olympics categories. We will be awarding gold, silver, and bronze medals for the best time in each age group over the season. So, ride as many times as you like to try to improve your best time.

The Southwest Ohio Indoor Cycling Races "roared like a lion" on Sunday, Mar 24, 2024, at the Countryside YMCA in Lebanon, OH!
The positive energy was overflowing all day and boosted the riders to do their best!
The women celebrated with two women's-only races and and there was dancing and singing and laughing to some great music! They had so much fun!
Congratulations to all the finishers! There were plenty of outstanding finish times and 5 personal records. I will tell you more about the PRs in separate post so stay tuned.
Check out the photo album, titled "Mar 24 2024 SW Ohio Indoor Cycling Races", on this same page. The pictures really tell the story and capture the spirit and energy we enjoyed all day!
Please help me in thanking the many wonderful volunteers who gave their time and effort to make this a top notch event for everyone! They set up all the equipment, made sure that bikes were hooked up and calibrated properly, checked and entered the computer information for every rider in each race, advised riders how to manage the race course and their effort, took hundreds of great photos, and disassembled and loaded all the equipment after the last race. That's a lot of work!
Thank you Vivian Rouse, Alan Bindemann, Bill Wilson, Mike Stoecker, Ray Oakes, Jeff Pierce, Elaine Lynch, Kristen Schulz, Sue Zurface, Eileen Maloney, and Jay Hissett. You made it all come together without a hitch and the participants had a blast! Many thanks to each of you for your tremendous help in making this event a success!

The goal of the Indoor Cycling Races is to bring cyclists together to socialize in a family friendly setting, to provide a unique training and racing experience, and to foster friendly, good spirited competition.

We also want to highlight ways that cyclists support their communities by donating all of the proceeds to charities like the YMCA, Animal Rescue, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, The American Cancer Society, ALS Foundation, American Heart Association, and many more. Our goal for this season is to raise $4,000 and we can only achieve this with your participation.

We ask for a donation of $25 for each race you enter. If you can't be here in person you can still make a donation via the link above.

We look forward to seeing you at the races!

The Indoor Cycling Races offer cyclist of all levels a chance to socialize, train and compete with each other in a safe, friendly, indoor environment. The races are an excellent way to measure and improve your fitness throughout the winter months in Ohio.
