MECS Field Hockey Alumni Game & Reunion

I had to order a few extra Field hockey reunion shirts to take care of people who we missed on the day of the reunion, so if anyone is interested I have a few of almost all sizes left. There are a couple of youth large, as well as adult medium, large, XL, 2XL and 3XL . The cost is $15 and I will be happy to send them to you.

In my effort to get the actual games going I forgot to announce those people who were the "non-playing" members of the reunion. We have some T-shirts leftover from the MECS field hockey reunion. All sizes from small to 3XL except medium. We don’t want them hanging around so the $15 cost will cover the mailing…. I hope.🤣🤣

The field hockey reunion was a resounding success, bringing together so many people from across the years and from across the country (Oregon, Colorado, Florida, Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina to name a few). Whether you came to play or to watch, it was great to see everyone back on the field again as part of the MECS Field hockey family. It was also wonderful to be able to see so many of your parents, spouses and families. It was really a day of nostalgia and celebration, reminding us how much we love field hockey. Here's to more reunions.....after we rest up from this one!
Man thanks to Nikki Doroshenko, Matt Jacobs, Chris Doroshenko, Elaine Hogan and the countless people who helped out before, during and after the reunion. Special thanks to the varsity field hockey team for their involvement, as well.

Today is the day! Hope to see you all in a very short while, including some of you who did not sign up! Thankfully, the weather looks like it is going to be cooperating. Just a reminder that smoking, va**ng and alcohol are prohibited on school grounds, including parking lots.

Good morning field hockey champions!! The big day is fast approaching. A couple of reminders and suggestions. If you have a stick, bring it. Also, please bring your phone. There is going to be a photo booth and there will be plenty of photo opportunities. Also, some of the activities require self-timing. Your spectators might want to throw a folding chair in the car, just in case. We are also looking for a couple of sets of corn hole boards, if anyone can lend us some.
Lastly consider meeting at the Fort following the event for a relaxing beverage before calling it a day!

Saturday is almost here!! The weather forecast calls for 58% chance of showers....the same odds that someone would forget their mouthguard on game day! We can deal with it.
In addition to playing hockey there should be plenty of activities to keep you busy...a great photo booth, corn hole hockey, a bounce house and more. To be safe we have decided NOT to include the sumo wrestling suits, dunk booth and axe throwing!
The food truck that will provide a meal for the participants will also be available to any spectators. Your spouses, parents, children, friends and enemies are all welcome to attend.
And remember, Carol Sidoran will be stopping by to help with your math homework!
