Happy Memorial Day! 🇺🇸

Each year on this day, we tackle MURPH at 13 Stars, a workout created by Lt. Michael Murphy, who originally named it BODY ARMOR. Murph was killed in action during Operation Red Wings in 2005 as part of a 4-person Navy SEAL recon team in Afghanistan.

This day is always a great opportunity for us to come together as a community, to challenge ourselves, push ourselves outside of our comfort zone, to see friends we don't always get to see ... and to honor one of America's bravest.

You have your home, and you have work, but everyone benefits from a "third space" as well.

🏋️‍♂️ For our members, 13 Stars is that place. It’s where you can leave the stress of the day at the door, challenge yourself, and catch up with friends who are on the same mission as you: aging with strength and confidence.

☕️ We take our training seriously, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. From breakfast meet-ups to cheering each other on during a tough workout, the community at 13 Stars is what makes the "hard work" feel easy.

🍷 Want to age like a fine wine? Let’s make the bottle unbreakable.

It’s time to retire the "lifting makes you bulky" myth and embrace the "lifting makes you unstoppable" reality. For women, strength training isn’t just about aesthetics... it’s about building a body that lasts.

The secret sauce? Progressive Overload. You can’t stick with the same 5lb dumbbells for a decade and expect your physiology to change. To keep seeing results, you have to gradually increase the weight.

Here is why lifting heavy (for you!) is the ultimate longevity hack:
