🎁 HELP US MAKE A DIFFERENCE THIS HOLIDAY SEASON 🎁

The Morris Rugby Club is proud to once again support the Toys for Tots initiative — bringing smiles and joy to children in need this Christmas.

We’re collecting new, unwrapped toys to donate to the Toys for Tots Train event happening in Dover on Saturday, December 7.

🚂 On that morning, we’ll meet at the Dover Moose Lodge at 10:00am to load all the donated toys into trucks and bring them to the Dover Town Hall.
Once there, we’ll help the Sea Cadets count and organize the toys before the Toys for Tots Train arrives at 11:00am. When the train pulls into Dover, the Marines and Santa step off to collect the toys — it’s truly a heartwarming sight and a wonderful community experience.

🎅 This event helps bring Christmas to children who might otherwise go without, and this year, the need is greater than ever.

💚 We’d love your support — whether that’s donating a toy or joining us on the day to lend a hand.

Wreaths Across America – Join Us This Sunday
This Sunday, 30 November, we invite all Morris Rugby players and families to join us as we come together to honor and remember our fallen soldiers.

This is a special annual tradition for our club — a chance for our players to show respect, give back, and stand side-by-side with our community.

U14 Spotlight! 🏉🔥
Let’s not forget the incredible performance from our U14 team at the Lansdowne NY 7’s Tournament on October 5th!

With low numbers on the day, our Morris and Rye coaches came together in the true spirit of rugby — uniting both teams to create one powerhouse side. The result? A jam-packed day of high-quality rugby, with wins against every club they faced 👏

The teamwork, communication, and skill on display were outstanding. If you didn’t know better, you’d think these players had been training together all season.

Well done to all the boys and girls for showing fantastic sportsmanship, supporting each other, and bringing infectious energy and fun to every match — especially as you drove that ball over the try line time and again! 🟢⚪️

A huge thank-you to all the coaches, parents, and players for making it a memorable day of rugby. 💪💚

About this Weekend! 🏉
Sunday, October 5th, the Morris U12 Boys Rugby team headed up to Lansdowne, New York, for their very first 7’s games of the fall season — and what a fantastic day it was!

With strong competition from Rye, Greenwich, and PlayRugby New York, the boys came together for a jam-packed day of rugby in the beautiful Tibbetts Brook Park in Yonkers. The setting couldn’t have been more perfect, with excellent weather and an incredible atmosphere.

For many of the boys, this was not only their first game of the season but also their first time playing rugby — and they rose to the challenge brilliantly. Even against tough competition, the team came together beautifully, showing determination, teamwork, and heart.

What truly warmed our hearts wasn’t just their performance, but seeing this new brotherhood form — smiles, laughter, and great sportsmanship all around. The perfect recipe for a perfect rugby Sunday.

A big thank-you to all the parents for their support, and to Coach Graham for leading the team through a fantastic day. We couldn’t be prouder of this group and are excited for the season ahead! 🙌❤
