FARM HELP — BARN & SHOW HELP WANTED IN OCALA, FL

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking person to join our team in a full-time Barn & Show Help position.

Our horses range from foals and young horses to experienced show horses, so applicants should be comfortable safely handling horses of different ages and experience levels. Basic horse experience is required, but we are happy to work with someone who is eager to learn and grow.

🏡 AT HOME
6 days per week
7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
1-hour lunch break
Duties include:
Feeding and turning horses in and out
Cleaning stalls
Basic grooming
General barn cleaning and organization
Other daily barn duties

🏆 AT SHOWS
6 days per week
Hours vary based on the show schedule
Duties include:
Feeding and cleaning stalls
Grooming and tacking show horses
Setting jumps at the ring
Keeping the show area clean and organized
Assisting with general show barn duties

🌟 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, hardworking, kind to the horses, and able to work well as part of a team. We value someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and is willing to learn.
We are also open to a working-student-type arrangement for someone interested in learning all aspects of the horse industry.

Riding opportunities are available for the right candidate, with the option to bring your own horse.

☀️ We had such a fantastic Summer Circuit at WEC Ocala ☀️

We are so thankful for our team and all the hard work to make it a success 🥰

Here are some highlights…

🔹 Pistachio and Tarrin Kirby were Circuit Champion in the 36-54 Adult Hunters

🔹 Perla pas de Calais had top placings in the 1.35m consistently and was 7th in the Future’s Prix Week 8

🔹 Joe Nash’s Ludo was Champion in the 3’ USHJA and 8th in the National Derby Week 1

🔹 Tango and Ashley Wallace finished week 9 with a 6th place finish in the 1.10m Adult Amateur Jumper Classic

🔹 Hello Sunshine and Madison Frey had some great rounds in the WT Ground Poles and X Rail division

🔹 Tarantino and Brooklyn Gervasio joined us for Week 8 and 9 with a Win in the NHS Medal and top placings in the NCEA and THIS Medal

🔹 Ann Mallen’s Koletta won over fences in the 3’-3’3” Young Hunters Week 9 along with other top placings

🔹 Emily Smiths Crescendo Libby Lou earned a 2nd in the 2’6” USHJA Week 8 along with other super placings

🔹 Caroline Freeman Equestrian’s Vogue was Champion in the Combined Young Hunters Week 8

🔹 Suzanne Deuel’s Troubador earned a 1st in the 3’6” Performance and other top Ribbons week 8

🔹 As You Are made his show debut in the Young Jumpers with Miro Frey early in the summer and finished with his Hunter debut in the Baby Greens

🔹 Leslie Kramer’s Gladrags jumped some super rounds in the 2’9” USHJA

🔹 Joe Nash’s Simpatico was Champion in the 3’ Green Hunters Week 1

🔹 Ezin Rk and Alexa Riccio finished Week 9 with a 10th place finish in the 1.15m Adult Jumoer Classic

🔹 Best of Me and Ashley Wallace won the Non Pro Derby Week 1

🌴HITS /WEC🌴 OCALA 2026 is just around the corner Tall Oaks Farm is now accepting new clients and training/sales /consignment horses!
Owned and operated by hunter and jumper riders Stephanie Frey & Miro Frey Specializing in the sales and training of young and going warmblood horses.
The facility currently has a few stalls available! We offer 12x12 matted stalls, individual and group turnout, big irrigated Sand arena with full jump course, 70 foot round pen, climate controlled tack room, and personalized care. We are also available for training at shows. (LET US HELP YOU SELL YOUR HORSE) or come ride with us this winter
