This week the spotlight is on Chaval (Chefke) a big, scopy, handsome guy with the sweet puppy dog personality. Imported in 2012 as a 5 year old this son of Concorde has done it all from the young horse classes to the jr/ao jumpers and the eq ring. He was always a pleasure to have in the barn and I’m pretty sure that still holds true today!

Up this week, probably one of our most successful imports from a performance perspective, Essince W. Imported in 2016 as a 7 year old and bred by Jaco Van Weele, he definitely shows the stamp of amazing scope and carefulness from his sire Chacco Blue. Along the way we were very fortunate to find him an amazing partnership with David Beisel and together they have won multiple national level grand prixs and jumped competitively to the 1.60m level. This one is always fun to watch!!

Next up for our “hall of fame” is the rather handsome Gandalff (Nemo). He was imported as a 4 year old in 2015 and in addition to his stunning looks he has a stellar jump and just all around in your pocket personality. After a few years with us he also found an amazing new family and has been strutting his stuff down in Wellington the past few seasons. Rumor is, he has his own fan club 😂
