Here we go again - Due to the weather, all games at the Morrison Sports Complex have been cancelled for tonight.

All games tonight have been cancelled outside of town as well.

Hello Everybody - We finally got some rain which is great for the farmers and the grass, not so great for the ballplayers. All games tonight at the Morrison Sports Complex have been cancelled. Please help spread the word!

All Games in PTown/Lyndon cancelled as well.

Fulton has cancelled as well.

Erie has cancelled as well

Happy Tuesday Everybody - We are in need of some umpires for a few upcoming games this week and next. We have plate and base open for 5/28 (Thursday, 5:30) for Girls Minors and 6/2 (Tuesday, 5:30) for Girls Pony.

We also have a few later in the month that have both and some bases open for Girls Minors mid to late June.

Obviously the most important one right now is the game tomorrow to find a few willing to umpire so the girls can play. Please share to help spread the word. Thank you!

Happy Monday - It is Opening Week for some of our teams and we have games scheduled to start as early as today. Opening Night was a great success and we can't express enough thank you to everybody that was apart of it as well as our Opening Day Committee who put it all together and the weather for providing a great day to celebrate the upcoming year.

We can't begin a season without thanking all of our wonderful local businesses for supporting MYBS with sponsorships as well as donating for the baskets on Opening Day. As a non-profit it is these businesses that are greatly vital in helping keeping these rec programs going so please take some time to recognize those that graciously have donated for the upcoming season. Many of these businesses donate to MYBS year in and year out and we greatly appreciate every single one, past and present.

With the upcoming year - we are still in need of umpires to help with the games especially early on in the year as High School teams get ready to begin regionals and a hopeful long run towards state. It's a good way to get some extra cash for the summer, and who can't use that with gas prices! If you are interested in helping out umpiring this year and have not already reached out please feel free to reach out to morrisonyouthball@gmail or Matt Hill (815)718-8267 and we can get you the information needed to sign up for games.

Hopefully the weather cooperates this week to kick the season off and we hope everybody enjoys a good ball season!

This bag was left at the complex tonight, but don’t worry it is safe inside of the concession stand and can be picked up Monday night.

With the season approaching pretty quickly MYBS is looking for new board members to join the team and prepare for the season. If you have wondered how to get involved or help make a difference consider joining. We are a group of strictly volunteer group with the goal of setting up and providing the best opportunity for a good season for all kids in the community.

If you have interest in joining the board please send us your contact information to [email protected] and we'll be in touch to get you information or send you details of the next board meeting.

Every year we have board members moving on and out and always are in need of fresh ideas and volunteers to help make the season run as smoothly as possible.

We can never have too many volunteers so if you have or know a child that is currently participating in MYBS or will be - please consider joining the board to make sure the seasons can keep going on without any issues.
