Two Autumns ago, I was extremely weary and made a last minute decision to attend a yoga retreat when the opportunity seemingly dropped in my lap.

I didn’t realize how badly my soul needed the time away to be still, to rest, be encouraged, and to receive. Over the few days, the Lord met me where I was and breathed life back into my weary bones. I left feeling lighter, rejuvenated, and refueled for my work as a wife, mother, and yoga teacher.

My amazing experience from those few short days created an increasing desire to hold this space for other women who want to go deeper into their yoga and faith journey beyond an occasional one hour class.

If you are a woman ready to step away from the never ending to-dos and accept an invitation to rest, delight, and be held by Jesus, this is the space for YOU.

At this women’s fall CO yoga retreat weekend you will enjoy:

💖 3-night stay at a secluded and peaceful retreat home with expansive CO mountain range views
💖 Daily yoga, scripture meditation, and nervous system calming practices to slow down and be Held by God
💖 Nourishing and delicious meals prepared by a retreat private chef
💖 Blissful Yoga Spa with aromatherapy, gentle assists, and deep relaxation techniques
💖 Plenty of time and space to rest, read, craft, nap, walk, pray, explore, and simply be
💖 A life-giving Christ-centered community to pray, laugh, cry, and rest alongside you
💖 Small gift bag with items to help you further rest and rejuvenate
💖 Opportunity to enjoy a group fall hike in Buena Vista
💖 Optional hot springs soak at Mount Princeton Hot Springs and lunch at the resort restaurant (additional cost of day pass ($35-45) and resort lunch not included)

My 33rd birthday is today, and I've been reflecting on how I have lived about the same amount of time that Jesus himself spent on earth.

As a yoga teacher, I can’t help but be in awe of how the embodied God of the universe loved people and worshipped the Father with His BODY.

Jesus healed the blind, lepers, and sick with His HANDS. (He could have healed simply by speaking)
He blessed children and wrapped them into his ARMS.
He preached about God’s Kingdom by walking thousands of miles by FOOT.
He calmed a storm by speaking with his VOICE.
He fell down to his KNEES to pray in grief.
His BACK was whipped,
His FACE was struck and spat on,
His HEAD punctured with thorns,
His SHOULDERS bore the weight as He carried the cross He was nailed to
Jesus’ WHOLE BODY was given up to death as a sacrifice.
And His WHOLE BODY walked out of the tomb when He was resurrected.

If our loving Savior thought it best to show His love for us though the use and sacrifice of His entire body, then how wonderful is it to be able to celebrate and praise Him in the same way?!

We are called not into half-hearted thankfulness, but full praise through song, music, shouting and dancing. We are called to embody and boldly worship, because our God is worthy of it!

Psalm 150
“Praise the Lord!
Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens!
Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness!
Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp!
Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe!
Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals!
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!”

So thankful for the ability to worship God through movement and to do it with t these lovely ladies this morning. Our yoga birthday party class was a banger. 💃🏼🤣

My yoga students can confirm 🤪

Does your yoga/fitness teacher count like this too?

Send this to your instructors who are guilty of this 🤣

'Work Hard. Hustle. Push. Keep going. You got this!"

These are the messages we hear on repeat.

But what if:

you slowed down?
you tuned into how you're doing?
you noticed how you're feeling?
you put the doing on pause?
you allowed yourself to just be still?
you trusted God whatever burden you are carrying?

This is the space:

where stress turns into surrender.
where overwhelm is met with rest.
where fear is washed in peace.
where strivings cease and belovedness begins.

This is your reminder to breathe and Jesus's invitation to something beyond the busyness.

and share a beautiful hour of breath, mindfulness, and meditation. 💖

It's an immense blessing whenever I'm able to turn off my teacher brain, be a student, and receive from other wonderful instructors.

“Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life.
Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again.
Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
