⚽️ Fall Season 2026 Field Renovation Update ⚽️

Hello Everyone!

Fall Season 2026 is quickly approaching, and we are so excited to see our returning players and welcome all of our new players and families! ❤️💙⚽️

In an effort to remain fully transparent with our soccer families, we wanted to provide an update on the status of our field renovation project — or, unfortunately, the lack thereof. 😅

🙌🏻 The good news: During the Spring season, we successfully raised enough money to cover the cost of the field renovations! This was a HUGE accomplishment, and we cannot thank everyone enough who helped make it happen — whether you donated, participated in fundraisers, volunteered, or simply supported the program. This truly took our entire soccer community!

Unfortunately, things have not gone quite according to plan. 🥴

We had hoped to begin the renovations within a week or two following our End-of-Season Party. However, as the saying goes… the best-laid plans don’t always work out as expected.

🚜 **So, where do things currently stand?**

• We ran into an issue securing the necessary fill dirt, which unfortunately delayed the start of the project.

• From our current understanding, we now have a source for the fill dirt. However, we may need some assistance with **trucking/transporting the dirt to the field.**

• We are working with Pase Excavating to complete the physical work needed to create our new 10U field.

• We are hopeful that we will be able to break ground sometime this fall. This means there may be construction or other work taking place around the fields during the season as we work toward having the new field ready for Spring 2027. 🎉

⚠️ **A VERY IMPORTANT REMINDER**

As work begins, we will need everyone's help keeping players, siblings, and other family members to out of any areas where work is taking place. Construction areas can be dangerous, and we want to make sure everyone stays safe while the improvements are being completed.

I (Morgan, board president) truly wish I had more information to share at this point, but unfortunately, this is the extent of what I know right now.

We will continue to provide updates as we have more definite information to share.

We greatly appreciate everyone's patience, understanding, and support as we work through this process. Completing a project of this size is a difficult task under the best of circumstances, and we are incredibly grateful to have such a supportive soccer community behind us.

🚜🍬 **Join West Branch Youth Soccer in the Kylertown Parade!** ⚽🎉

We're excited to be part of the **Kylertown Parade on Saturday, August 15**, and we'd love for our soccer families to join the fun!

🌟 **Kids are invited to:**
🍭 Ride on our decorated trailer and help throw candy to the crowd *(limited spots available)*, or
🚶 Walk the parade route alongside our group with the adults.

🙋 **We're also looking for parent volunteers** to walk beside the trailer to help keep everyone safe and make sure our young candy throwers have a great time.

It's a fun way to represent West Branch Youth Soccer, celebrate our community, and make some great memories together!

We are currently taking players 2015 and younger interested in boys travel soccer (girls can play on the boys division) for a first week of August tryout. DM us for info. Interested players should have a registration form on file before the July 31 deadline.

July 1-31 is your window, spots are not guaranteed after that. Our monthly board meeting (third Monday) is when we will collect in person registration and it is on fair parade night … so if that doesn’t work for you make sure to select Venmo or mail a check!

We have confirmation from head coach Cory Pase that we will offer a boys 2015 (and younger) team again this fall. We will also have rec teams for these ages as usual.

⚽ Interested in WB United Travel Soccer?

WB United will be using a coach-led team model moving forward.

For Coaches
Coaches who want to form a travel team should contact us now or within the next week.
Coaches may choose to accept all interested players or hold tryouts before registration closes.

WB United will no longer be forming travel teams administratively.

If you are a coach interested in starting a team and we don't already know you, please provide:
A preliminary roster (even if incomplete)
Player birthdates
Parent/guardian contact information

Important Dates 📅
Registration opens: July 1
Full team rosters due: August 1
Teams should be organized with enough players and an eligible coach by the third week of July.

Players can still be added after August 1, but teams must be established and ready to activate before then.

Please Note: Players entering 7th grade and above should plan to play for their school district's junior high or varsity program. Players in these age groups may only participate with WB United if they have received any required approvals.

We appreciate your assistance in this program. This change will help reduce last-minute roster changes and ensure compliance with PA West requirements.
