Shared from Joe Lockhart.. this is also the same with our track photographers as well

Hey Everyone, this is Joe posting as you have likley gathered Hillary that also does scoring handles the website and some of this page.

I had a chance last night to talk to Chris from Hey Dwyer Photography last night after the races. I have truthfully never asked any photographer their Financial business but in talking last night I asked him how it was going this season. I was absolutely heart sickened to hear his answers. Actually disappointed in all of our efforts including my own for what he has sold this year. I see a ton of his photos being used and shared and assumed he was doing well. He is at nearly every event both Thursdays and Saturdays. He is not paid by me. Drives to and from his house and walks for hours capturing all of us having special moments or action photos on the track. Then spends hours editing and posting pictures.

I wont mention numbers as it isnt my place but, he has sold less than some of us fill our gas tanks weekly for. 🤯🤯🤯

We need to do better for him and all these photographers that come to tracks and capture these moments for us all.

He has packages on his website to purchase all photos he has of you for the whole year. Or individually sold photos.

Chris like many other photographers go above and beyond for all of us to capture these moments. Please help me in supporting Chris and purchasing some of your favorite photos.

If we dont support these Photographers they will eventually not be at the tracks.

I’m sure most of you have heard about Case Higgins. He was badly burnt over the weekend and a lot of racing businesses are challenging every cage kart driver to participate in this to win some cool stuff… we always announce this at the beginning of the season that all cage kart racers must be able to unstrap and get out of their karts fast and this is the reason why…
It’s also important to check and update your fire extinguishers that you should have in your trailers. Just so everyone is aware we have 2 extinguishers in the flag stand, 1 on the light pole at the grid area and 1 in the middle of the track…
(Also remember, you can’t see alcohol burning)

Flat Run Speedway continues to keep Case in our thoughts and prayers as well as his parents.

In honor of Case Higgins, we’re launching the .

Case continues to fight every day, and our family continues to pray for him and the Higgins family. Our hope is to encourage every racer to practice one of the most important safety skills there is: getting out of the race car quickly in the event of an emergency.

How to participate:

🔹Have someone video you and post it, tagging Factory Fourteen and using .

🔹Challenge 3 other racers to complete the .

🔹Wear all of your safety gear with your belts latched, neck restraint connected, and visor down.

🔹Start with both hands on the steering wheel. The timer begins the moment your hands leave the wheel.

🔹Before unbuckling your belts, turn off all master/power switches on the dash.

🔹Exit the race car as quickly and safely as possible. The timer stops when both feet touch the ground.

It’s important to us that every driver is confident and comfortable getting out of their race car in an emergency. No matter what type of car you race, what class or division you compete in, or your age, we encourage you to participate and help spread awareness.

To encourage as many drivers as possible to get involved, everyone who completes the and follows the rules will be entered into a drawing. Five winners will each receive a Factory Fourteen merchandise bundle valued at over $100 each.

The challenge runs through August 31st, and we’ll announce the winners on September 1st.

Every driver should practice and become comfortable with the skill of safely exiting their race car in case they are in a situation when it’s needed most. We encourage parents, crews, and teams to make it part of their routine.

Please continue to keep Case and the Higgins family in your prayers. We are believing and praying for his continued strength and healing. ❤️
