Thank you to our senior class:
Andrew Franson.
Parker Gilchrist.
Breckin Silvain.
Elias Harrington.
Aidan Moran.
Bradie Black.
Ryan McGie.
Ben Meuser.
This group has been through a lot together. They’ve seen change, they’ve seen growth, and through it all, they stayed committed to Cougar Baseball and to each other.
Some endured the low of a sophomore season filled with injuries and adversity, and they helped lead this program to some of its highest moments, including 3 UMAC Tournament appearances in 4 years and the first UMAC Tournament win in program history.
They helped establish the standard for what our program should look like every single day, in the locker room, in practice, in competition, and in the way we represent UMN Morris Baseball.
What made this group special was the variety of leadership styles they brought to our program. Some led vocally, some led quietly, some led through consistency, and some led through energy and personality. But every one of them found a way to positively impact the people around them.
They were selfless leaders who cared deeply about this team and this program. They understood what our guys needed on a daily basis, whether that was accountability, confidence, support, competitiveness, or simply joy.
Most importantly, they were a joy to coach and be around every single day.
Their impact wasn’t just felt on the field. Academically, this senior class helped lead our program to 8 consecutive semesters with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher while continuing to raise the standard for what it means to be a student-athlete at UMN Morris.
This senior class helped move our program forward and created memories and accomplishments that will never be forgotten.
Their careers together were legendary, and we are excited for what the future holds for each of them.
Thank you, seniors. Love each of you, couldn’t be more proud of you.
Roll Cougs.
