Hi-Desert Rod & Gun Club Nestled in the hills of Morongo Valley, at the foot of the Yucca grade, the Hi-Desert Rod and Gun Club has served the high desert communities since 1976.

Our range will accommodate shooters of all ages, disciplines, and abilities. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned veteran in the sport of shooting you can find a challenge at our range. Safety First!!! Firing line is always attended by an NRA certified "Range Safety Officer" who is there to direct range operations, assist shooters, and most importantly, maintain a safe shooting environment. Th

e High Desert Rod and Gun Club does not rent or sell fi****ms nor do we sell or supply ammunition. Steel core ammunition is not allowed at our range. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday the Rifle and Pistol benches are buzzing with action from morning to late afternoon. We have 10 covered stations that can accommodate standing, sitting and prone positions for your pleasure. On Wednesday and Sunday mornings you will find a hearty round of trap to start the day off right. On the second Saturday of the month we hold the David Miller Memorial rifle match. These matches are open to the old and young alike for some prone style NRA competition shooting. The third Saturday of the month we host a steel challenge. Join us on this Saturday for more information. We are affiliates of the NRA and CRPA.

If any of you were planning to come to the clean-up day Saturday, it has been cancelled. We only had a small group commit to coming and it is way too hot for this time of year to be out there with no shade weeding.

🚨 Riverside County Concealed Carry Certification Class – April 4 & 5 🚨
Fight or Flight Fi****ms Training is proud to be certified by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department to offer the 16-hour Concealed Carry (CCW) certification class and the 8 hour recertification class.
This class will be taught by experienced instructors Sue Apostoli and Kim Johnson and will be held April 4th and 5th in Morongo Valley.
If you have started the application process for your first CCW then you are ready to complete your training and this class 16 hour class will fulfill the required certification. If you are within 180 days of your current CCW expiring now is the time to take your recertification 8 hour class.

🚨 Concealed Carry Certification Class – April 4 & 5 🚨

Hi Desert Rod & Gun Club, your local public shooting range, is proud to be certified by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department to offer the 16-hour Concealed Carry (CCW) certification class.

This class will be taught by experienced instructors Sue Apostoli and Kim Johnson and will be held April 4th and 5th in Morongo Valley.

If you have received notification from the Sheriff’s Department that you are ready to complete your training, this class will fulfill the required certification.

One spot has opened up in Fridays Red Dot class taught by Mike Pettingill of Personal Protection Academy. Join us for 3 hours of learning how to successfully use your red dot. You will learn to be target focused, shoot with both eyes open, and consistently find your dot. Learn to engage targets and make that dot work for you!

A great big thank you to those that braved the weather ( it really wasn’t bad 😉) to show up for clean up day. While there were things we couldn’t do because of the rain we got a lot of weeding done, trash picked up, and brass raked up. And we all had fun!
