Just a reminder to all WSL teams, all rosters freeze after the your state tournament or July first OR which ever occurs first per national rule book.

Teams need to make sure rosters are in order you have two weeks left.

October 19th-20th we are doing a customer appreciation tournament for all teams that have played in the park this year. Cost is just $25 per team and each team pays the umpire $15 at the plate before each game. We will offer 3 classes an upper lower and a league only division. I reserve the right to place a league team in lower or upper division to insure a competitive class. See flyer below for more info on prizes. Format will be based on total number of teams in each division along with prize payouts. I want to thank ALLDAY Apperal for working with us to provide a good prize package. A great chance for teams to end the year with a head start on next year.

KENTUCKY WSL TEAMS - August 17-18
One of the last WSL events before worlds with more than half of each teams entry being paid back to the top finishers. It has been on the schedule, but details are here and we don’t want to lose this date at a great park in the western part of the state. Kenton Lakes has a fundraiser this Saturday the organizer is playing it in the same format as the Boobie Bash. Two pools into a one and out, home run bracelets and we are providing the balls. Paper rosters. More info can be seen on Kenton Lakes page or Ky WSL page. Message or text Bill Martz-kls

WSL KY STATE TOURNAMENT.

Just a few items to communicate for this weekend tournament. Gate Fee is $3.00 and bracelets will be issued.

If we have any delays or rain issues I will communicate via Facebook post.

I will post final payouts at the park for E since numbers changed since last post. And D and REC will payout per flyer.

Teams are welcome to tailgate here at the park, but all outside food and drinks must remain in the parking lot. Please clean up around your area when you are done.

Pitching is Option #1 (6-10) No Faking

Teams must hit their own Worth WSL stamped 44/400 Ball. We have balls Available at the park.

Teams need to be ready to play 30 minutes prior to game times on bracket.

Bat testing will start at 7:00 am. All the current Utrip banned Suncoast and Juno Bats May be used but must pass at the 240 compression. Teams may submit up to 20 bats but only 16 will be stickered. (If it is submitted and Passes it will get a sticker). Bat testing will end once all first round games are completed in your class. Suggested that teams submit all bats at same time.

At the close of this tournament All Kentucky rosters freeze. Teams have until 6:00 pm tonight Friday the 23rd to submit any more changes for this Weekend. If you requested a player change or drop and it’s not on your roster let me know by Sending me a text @. 859-640-5080. If you sent a request and I can confirm, that I did not get done I will get it done.

I have had limited phone and internet service since Saturday, finall got the new phone working. Wife chose Friday to hand me my phone and I was afraid to transfer to new phone with a couple hundred people around. So softball players and coaches I plan to spend the evening since we are rained out catching up on the requests to add players. Keep in mind all players have to be researched and checked. Individual player appeal deadlines will be July 1st and rosters all freeze after this weekend, if not already frozen due to tournament finish or team appeals. So if I haven’t answered you yet or you sent a message be patient and I will get back with you when done or if there is a problem with the request. Lastly deadline for the Ky state entry is Wednesday at Noon and I will try to have brackets out late Wednesday or early Thursday morning.
