what truth do I already know?

That I can do it.

I used to struggle with not thinking I could do the things I set my mind to.

What I found was that I was hiding behind the fear.
I was choosing to make things scarier than they were through overthinking so that I wouldn’t have to rise to the challenge. What I was doing was cheating myself by not looking at it and thinking it through.

It was costing me my time, my health, my money, my energy and my vitality.

When I DECIDED that I could do it, when I DECIDED that I was going to do it by any means necessary,
I showed myself that I could.

And I did it. Over and over.

That’s how I built confidence.

One of the best things I ever did was let go of alcohol.

My physique changed unlike anything I’d ever accomplished. My skin cleared, got more youthful and plump, i started aging in reverse. I finally got the abs I never thought I could have. My cup size went down two sizes.

My mental clarity, focus, and energy hit an all time high.

Less distraction, less anxiety, less loneliness by choosing more of what aligned with me.

For so long I worked so hard and wondered why I wasn’t seeing as much progress as when I’d started training years prior.

Once I let go of the identity of being the fun girl, the life of the party, the one who needed a vibe using drinks, everything changed. I would not have experienced the skyrocket I did, had I not let it go.

You can do it too.
Once you change, everything around you changes.

What it means: low recovery quality, stress load is high

2. SWEET OR SALTY CRAVINGS IN THE PM HOURS What it means: body asking for more consistent, substantial, or nutritionally dense foods

3. FEELING TENSION AROUND YOUR NECK, TRAPS, SHOULDERS, UPPER BACK
What it means: you are bracing and carrying stress

I’ve experienced all of these at some point in my life. I used to think an upset stomach was normal for women in their thirties. I thought my mind and body would be stuck forever. I remember when I would experience heavy brain fog mid conversation in the middle of a business meeting. I didn’t realize just how much stress I was carrying around until I started intentionally learning the signs and what they meant and then designing a system to improve my outcomes.

Your results are the product of your boundaries and your communication.

I was able to understand how important they were when I finally began practicing them with the key person in my journey:
me.

That meant keeping my discipline, even when things got hard.

I got TO WORK, and took full responsibility for the outcomes, coming back harder every time.

Over time of working towards that alignment, my stress came down and a huge shift came in my performance, my confidence and my nervous system, creating a major ripple effect in every area.

Blueberries are the fastest way I stabilize my energy.

I started eating more fruit because I was under fueled, and fruit became one of the simplest ways to reset my body and get me on a consistent routine.

When I was busy, I’d skip meals, push through, then the cravings would hit. I couldn’t think clearly, I was more irritable, and I saw the difference in my body.

Fruit helped bridge that gap with real carbs, fiber, water, and minerals that support steady energy and zapped cravings.

It’s also an easy win first thing in the morning, on the go, and as a quick snack. My body thrives on fruits. ESPECIALLY as a Latina and Caribbean woman, I evolutionarily thrive on tropical fruits and roots, my energy and body did a 180 when I shifted to eating more of the foods that my ancestors and environment thrived on.

The problem is a day built on coffee, low protein, and random bites that leave you depleted by 3pm.

Start simple. Add one additional serving of fruit per day.
Eat something natural that’s green, or red, or purple every single day.

I remember a time when I massively fell off track.

I was going through a tough time.
About a year prior I’d been lifting my strongest weight, in one of the best shapes of my life, eating well, loving life. And I’d hit a wall.

Had an injury, had to start from scratch. While building my businesses.

Lots of changes, learning, and transition.

Life was in flux and my routine felt all over the place, which was not what I was used to.
My eating was sporadic and so was my energy which affected my body, home and work.

I needed a change.

I leaned in to the system that has kept me consistent for the past 10 years.
