Adam D’Agostino is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) specializing in the Optimum Performance Training (OPT) model. Adam has additional certifications as a Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), Mixed Martial Arts Conditioning Specialist (MMACS), and Nutrition & Weight Loss Specialist (WLS). ch and US Masters Swimming Level 3 Certified Coach. In addition, he is a TrainingPeaks Level 2 Multisport Coach and is TRX Functional Training Certified (FTC). Adam began his athletic career playing football, basketball, and soccer as a child. He continued to play these sports throughout high school, while also competing in track & field. In 1998, he started training in mixed martial arts (MMA) consisting of Muay Thai Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Jeet Kune Do, and Kali/Eskrima. Adam competed in MMA for several years, including various tournaments and MMA fights. He won 1st place at the North American Grappling Association (NAGA) Battle at the Beach. One of Adam’s finest accomplishments in MMA came in 2002 when he won the NAGA National Championship tournament. Although some injuries steered him out of the MMA competition circuit, he still continues training to refine his skills. Adam has always maintained an elite fitness level with a competitive edge since he began exercising, never wavering in his training regimen. In 2012, he decided to further challenge himself by becoming a competitive Triathlete. Adam completed his first Triathlon after only 3 months of training, going on to compete in many Olympic-distance races and Ironman 70.3 competitions over the next few years. Adam finished his first Ironman in Lake Placid, going on to claim another Ironman finish several years later in Mont-Tremblant. Additionally, Adam’s performance in Triathlon has qualified him for the USA Triathlon (USAT) National Championships 11 times (2012-2019, 2022-2024). Furthermore, he is a two-time qualified athlete (2017 & 2019) on Team USA for the International Triathlon Union (ITU) Multisport World Championships in Long-Distance Triathlon. He placed 3rd in his age group during the 2017 event in Penticton. Currently, Adam is a CPT specializing in the following areas:
