The WVU women’s lacrosse club team was founded in 2005 by a group of girls who had a strong passion for lacrosse. They started out with no money, two games, fourteen players and home-made uniforms. Ten years later this club has now adapted into a great team that plays around twelve games a season and is a member of the WCLL Division 1 East. We participate in two seasons, Fall and Spring, with separate tryouts that are held at the beginning of both the Fall and Spring semester. In the fall we practice two times a week and travel a few times. And in the Spring we practice three days a week and travel almost every weekend. We have interest meetings before each season where we provide more information on the season to come. Being a club team we rely on fundraising to help support our travel expenses, tournament fees, and referee fees. We also help the Morgantown area by participating in a number of community service events throughout the year. President: Megan Lieberman
