What an absolutely incredible way to close out the 2026 season for the Covered Bridge RiverJaxx 10U and Coach Crane!
The boys went an outstanding 4-0 this weekend and finished the Country Roads Season Closer the best way possible—bringing home the Championship! 🏆
What an unforgettable ending… but even more importantly, what an incredible beginning.
This team has proven that success isn’t measured only by trophies or wins. It’s measured by heart, determination, teamwork, and the willingness to give everything you have for the player standing beside you. Every single one of these boys gave 100% for their teammates, and it showed every time they stepped onto the field.
A huge thank you to the extra players who stepped in to help us throughout the weekend. Your efforts and contributions were a big part of this championship run, and we appreciate each of you.
Championship Sunday Highlights
⚾ Semifinal Victory
The RiverJaxx battled through a thrilling 9-8 victory over the Morgantown Redbirds 9U to punch their ticket to the championship game. The offense came alive with timely hitting, clutch RBIs, and outstanding teamwork, while the pitching staff stepped up when it mattered most to secure the win.
🏆 Championship Game
The RiverJaxx carried that momentum into the title game, defeating the Devils 10U, 9-4, to claim the championship! An explosive start at the plate, aggressive baserunning, strong defense, and another outstanding team effort sealed an incredible finish to an unforgettable weekend.
To Coach Crane, Coach Kenny, Coach Frankie, and Coach Saige and Game Changer Andy—thank you for the countless hours, the encouragement, the leadership, and for believing in these boys every single day. We are truly blessed with an amazing coaching staff that teaches so much more than baseball.
One thing Coach Crane said after the game couldn’t have been more true:
“It’s all about effort and attitude. If you have those two things, you’ll go far.”
That message defines this team.
This season was never just about winning baseball games.
It was about building character.
It was about becoming better teammates.
It was about believing in one another.
It was about playing with heart.
And that’s exactly what these boys did.
