We provide a Community Bike Shop that educates, encourages, and empowers a vibrant and inclusive cycling community through learning from educational do-it-yourself shop openings where people learn to build, maintain, and embrace the fun of bicycles. We are known well for our generosity, helping people whose main form of transportation is by bike, and transforming people's lives by introducing or re-introducing them to the health benefits that come from biking.

Morgantown Trail Hawks MTB Team - WVICL Coach and Positive Spin volunteer Scott Soderholm received a Maisoneuve fracture while on a training ride with the kids. While he heals he is borrowing a hand trike from Positive Spin which was found in a dumpster at a rehabilitation facility. He already has gone on a 10 mile ride on another training ride with the kids in a high gear! The issue with the trike was that the Sachs Super 7 hub and shifter were in bad condition. Fortunately, we had a cruiser in the shop with a Sachs Spectro S7 system (same family), which we swapped out the other day. There was a little challenge of finding a place for the Grip shifter, but we found a solution!

Poster Child Shahab purchased this bike from us last year, and enjoyed biking so much he soon sold his car. He utilized his bike so much in one year that we had to replace most of the bike's drivetrain (chain, cassette, chainrings, and bottom bracket). This is the type of success story we love at Positive Spin!

Lyra & the Collective: Spinning in Harmony: our first ever bike library returns! RipClaw given away, helped Que make some improvements with the bike we gave her and added some skinny tires. Todd performed his first bike parting. Some really cool donations from the CEO of Lyra Cat - adventure cats who like to ride bikes!

Gave a '70s Huffy Santa Fe cruiser to this happy recipient.

Que's first bike we gave her was stolen so we gave her a second one tonight.
