MDRC-Inc MDRC-Inc. is a private club for shooting sports. offers several shooting venues during the year that are open to non club members. Club membership is limited.

These include: IDPA, Sporting Clays, Black Powder, Smallbore Matches and Steel Challenge. Those members have use of the facilities year round during daylight hours. There are no indoor shooting facilities available.

Be at the range for a while tomorrow morning. DEP will be sealing an old mine opening on the property. Not sure how much concrete the job will take, may be there for a while. They have assured me they will not need to close the road while they pump concrete. If it is a very big void they may be there a second day.

For the Work Detail this Sunday, we need string trimmers (w**d eaters), for grass trimming. cleaning supplies, bucket sponges; cleaners such as Mr Clean, Top Job or similar cleaners for Bench House and windows, rest room and club room. We have plenty of rags. Also trash pick-up along road leading to the range.

We are having topsoil delivered to level the area for the Trap Field. The interruptions will be short, just long enough to dump the dirt near the shotgun canopy.

Saturday June 5th we will be having our first IDPA match of the season, Tom reached out and several people stepped up to assist with the set-up and act as S.O.s for the match. We are running scenarios and not the classifier. Also, this is open to non-club members. We are having 5 stages and not offering lunch. Those assisting with the set-up need to be at the range at 7am. Match will start at 10am. Looking for you all at the match.

We will have 2 club members mowing the range Wednesday morning around 10am. It takes about 2 1/2 hours.

Due to loosening of mask mandates in numerous states, and consistent with CDC guidelines, MDRC is revising their COVID-19 mask requirements to: The wearing of masks is optional at the IDPA and Steel Challenge matches (but encouraged if you have not been vaccinated).
Yes this is in place for tomorrow, come on out and enjoy!

Steel yesterday was fantastic! All coped with the Covid rules. We didn't have a large group but everyone enjoyed to day. Hopefully I will be feeling well enough to shoot IDPA May 1st. Weather was perfect, not too hot, no rain. Hopefully before the end of the season the ammunition supply will improve.

For those interested in Smallbore Silhouette, we will be starting this Sunday and it will continue on the third Sunday of each month. Sign-in at 12:30pm and shooting starting a 1:00pm
