💙🏀 2nd Annual Boys vs. Girls Scrimmage 🏀💙

Such a fun afternoon in the gym for our 2nd annual Boys vs. Girls Scrimmage!

There’s just something about a little friendly competition between classmates that brings out some extra energy! I’ve been told there’s been plenty of trash talk all week, so there was definitely a little extra hype leading up to this one! I love how close this group of kids is and how much they genuinely enjoy competing against each other.

We love getting both programs together for this scrimmage and hope it’s a tradition we continue for years to come.

Proud of both groups and excited to watch both teams compete this season! 💙🏀

One of the best moments from practice today had nothing to do with basketball.

A staff member was working in the gym while we practiced. Before she left, she stopped our entire practice because she wanted to tell our girls how impressed she was with them. She talked about how encouraging they were to one another, what great teammates they were, and how positive they were in the way they communicated throughout practice. She even said she would love to see more teams encourage and support each other the way our girls do.

As a team, we’ve worked hard to build a culture where players encourage one another, put the team first, and celebrate each other’s success. Hearing someone outside of our program recognize those things meant a lot to the girls.

We love watching these girls grow as basketball players, but we’re even more proud of the culture they are building and the teammates they’re becoming. Go Lady Bears!! 💙🐻

At tonight’s Boys game we honored Harper Hack for reaching 250 8th Grade Rebounds! She reached this prestigious number on December 16, 2025 in a win over Breckinridge County in the semifinals of the GRVC tournament.
