Not the night we wanted last night for the Paragon Classic, but still managed to run some good laps.

Had fueling issues all day, car died in hotlaps due to fuel pressure. Big thanks to Austin and Jesse for swapping the fuel pump, rewiring it, and rewiring the relay between hot laps and the heats. Also thanks to Topher and Jacob Owens for loaning us some tools.

Ended up transferring out of the B, drove up to 8th or 9th in the main and lost fuel pressure again.

Sorry for the lack of posts recently!

The team itself has been extremely busy over the past month or so.

As you've probably seen, the flagship of the team was put up for sale. There's a potential buyer, but until the car sells, it'll be on a track somewhere :)

That being said, we took the beast out to Brownstown Speedway for their Thursday night Thunder aka Fair Race. We knew rain was in the forecast, but we really needed to shake the car down pending the changes we made post-wreck.

After arriving late and unloading the car we noticed some issues with the front suspension, the team worked their butts off getting the suspension and toe squared away before hot laps, just for us to have a sensor issue. The sensor issue was fixed before the heat race and Dylan drove off into the rainy sunset, taking the heat race win.

Being back at Brownstown brought back some memories, but we could only recognize 3 or 4 cars in the field. It was nice to run the track again and race with some new faces.

First real looks at the car since Saturday and it's not looking good. Our last wreck bent the subframe, lower control arm, broke the tension rod, and broke the axle.. again. Not to mention the mess of body damage to the rear. With the lack of DA integras around here, this will be an expensive fix.

It may be time to retire this chassis and start transplanting into another.

Also, if you were one of those lap cars involved in the wreck, I'm really sorry. You guys had no idea we were coming as the blue flag was never thrown.

Lastly, if you rear ended me, please go see a doctor because you probably have a concussion. Hahaha.

I'm getting really sick of showing up with race-winning pace, then loading up a broken car. Two DNFs due to lap cars, one mechanical failure, then one true accident. I really appreciate the bigger Paragon payout, but something just isn't working for me. We'll get this rocket squared up, then attack again.
