Because you've been part of the Jim Dunn Run in the past, we wanted to personally invite you back for this year’s Annual Jim Dunn Run on Friday, September 4, at 6:00 p.m. We hope you'll lace up your running shoes and join us for another unforgettable evening!
Can't make it to Morgantown? You can still participate as a virtual runner by completing your run anytime between August 27 and noon on September 3 from wherever you are.
Every step you take helps make a lasting impact. Proceeds from the Jim Dunn Run provide college scholarships for West Virginia high school seniors while also supporting SteppingStones' year-round recreation programs for children and adults with disabilities. Your participation helps create opportunities, promote inclusion, and strengthen our community.
For just $40, your registration includes:
An official Jim Dunn Run T-shirt
A $15 gift card to Oliverio's or Mountain State Brewing Co.
A delicious Julia's Pepperoni Roll
Beverages provided by Mona Supply and Pepsi
Eligibility for race awards and, of course, the satisfaction of supporting two incredible causes
Awards will be presented immediately following the race, and race results will be posted online.

We are excited to announce the date for our 2026 Jim Dunn Run in person and virtual race. The in-person run and fun walk will be held on Friday, September 4th, 2026 at 6:00pm at the Wharf District. Registration must be completed online by noon Thursday, September 3rd to guarantee a shirt and gif.....
