From ready to rocking. 10k people each day this weekend for District 2 Cup. This is Bay Area's Competitive championships which splits the ages across three weekends, this one is for under eight to under eleven. Lots of kids on our fields - MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

Last night MHYSA hosted 2016 Forum for Candidates for Mayor and City Council at the Holiday Inn Express, discussing their positions on Sports and Tourism issues in our community.

If you are interested in other forums, there are two coming up:

On Sept. 29, starting at 6:30 p.m., the Morgan Hill chapter of the American Association of University Women will co-sponsor a forum that will feature candidates for the Morgan Hill mayor’s seat and two city council spots, as well as three seats on the Morgan Hill Unified School District Board of Trustees.
The forum will take place at Morgan Hill City Council chambers, 17555 Peak Ave. The event is also sponsored by the Morgan Hill Times and Morgan Hill Life

Also on October 3rd, the Chamber of Commerce is hosting a forum at the Morgan Hill Community Playhouse.

Meet the Candidates
The 2016 election has more candidates running for public office in Morgan Hill than we have seen in a number of years. The Morgan Hill Youth Sports Alliance (MHYSA) would like to give the families in Morgan Hill’s sporting community a chance to meet our candidates to learn more about their opinions and plans for our community. We are hosting a Mayoral and City Council Candidates Forum on Wednesday September 28th at 7pm at the Holiday Inn Express Winery Conference Room. After a brief introduction, the audience will pose questions to the candidates in a panel format on subjects including Proposition S, Southeast Quadrant plans and Downtown development as well as whatever is on your mind. Seating is limited. Please email [email protected] to register and submit your questions in advance.
