Sorry for the late post; but Saturday night at Atomic Speedway turned out to be a nice night for the:

Hot Laps/Qualifying was disappointing to say the least. I got out of rhythm on the second lap and was slow through turn 1 and 2.

I made a shock adjustment before the heat race car felt a little better but still off the pace in the turns.

For the feature, made another shock adjustment and filled it with fuel. Car was much better. It was better off the corner and better in the turns. Started the feature 16th and finished in 10th for this years first top ten. I am happy with that considering the caliber of drivers and cars in the Ohio Valley Legend Car Series. Dad was telling me that the announcer was saying we were putting on some of the best racing all night.

Congratulations to Quade Schoonover and Schoonover Motorsports on a great win. Also congrats to Steven and Glenn of podium finishes.

Thanks to Doug Fawley and Kevin Schoonover for advice and listening to my complaining about the car.

Next on to Lawernceburg, IN on Saturday night if Mother Nature cooperates.

Hotlaps did not time as fast as it felt to me but we nade it through

Made a small air pressure adjustment for the heat and t 180 South. I spun the car on lap 1. Suffered through the heat and made a bigger correction for the feature

Started 15 in the feature and was coming to green when it burped in turn 3. In the start zone i mashed the gas. It burped again and lost power. I rolled to tge infield and stopped. During a red flag, i turned on the fuel pump power switch , light came on, but no fuel pump noise.

I dod get to see a great race between Quade and Steven

I tried it on the trailer today, and guess what, the pump was pumping and it started. So, new pump this week and trace the power wires to make sure everything is goid for next week.
