Last weekend we had the pleasure of participating in another Military Appreciation Day for the Morehead City chapter. The guys wanted to get a few fish to take home for dinner and then try to find some sharks and we managed to pull it off despite some popup storms and a stiff S wind. Always enjoy getting to do these events with other vets and active duty.

Quick trip out the inlet this morning, the guys wanted to catch some fish for dinner and then do some sight seeing. A little bit choppy this morning but not too bad.

I have next weekend available for a private charter or a walk-on fishing trip! Get in contact if you want to get out on the water!

Great nearshore fishing today with some guys from North Carolina Veterans Outdoors! There was a good class of Spanish mackerel hanging around and action stayed steady through the morning. Thanks for coming guys and thank you for your service!

Another great day on the water with some folks from Goldsboro. There was a much better class of Spanish Mackerel around today and some big bonito. Get in touch if you want to go fishing!

Thank you to for hosting another great event. We had a lot of bites today but most fish were under-sized. A few Spanish and blues went home for dinner, and it was a great day on the water with fellow veterans. I’ll be looking forward to the next one.
