The 38th Annual NCDU Band the Billfish Tournament kicked off with a packed house at Wednesday night’s registration and captains’ meeting. It was great to see so many familiar faces and new teams ready to hit the water.

A huge thank you to every captain, crew, angler, sponsor, volunteer, and supporter who helped make this year’s tournament such a success. We appreciate everyone who showed up, showed out, and continue to support this event year after year.

Fishing aboard a 58’ Jarrett Bay, the crew racked up 1,650 points with an incredible catch of 3 Blue Marlin and 3 Sailfish, earning a total payout of $43,262!

• Level 4 Total Points – 3rd Place: $19,400

• Level 4 Total Points - 2nd Place: $29,100
• Level 5 Daily Release - Friday (Tie): $8,890

Fishing on a 56’ Sunny Briggs, the team earned a total of 2,050 points with an incredible catch of 4 Blue Marlin and 3 Sailfish, taking home a total of $168,616 and the 1st Place title!
