That’s a wrap folks! Not much to report this week because we were dealing with a death in the family, and the weather today put an end to scheduled layout hunts. Capt. Timmy was still mad at ‘em and had a solid finisher. Thank you to all who joined us and stay tuned for info regarding next season!

Enjoyed having Vladimir “Vladdy” Kuznetsov in the boat today all the way from Belarus. Vladdy told us he grew up eating sea ducks and his family makes a special pelmeni (traditional Russian meat dumpling) out of them. He had a great time and only regretted we have a 3 scoter limit. Thanks for coming!!

Unfortunately we’re not immune from catching the crude. Flu struck in New England so the crew sat it out today to hit the doctor’s office and start trying to mend. Last hunt yesterday sent a few more to the taxidermist! NC crowd did pretty darn well in slick cam conditions! Got a few dates that have come open around third week of January (North Carolina!), so if you may have interest please reach out!

Reid, Drake and the Bankes are in beautiful and cold New England and were working on some Eiders this morning. Timothy had a great father and son crew (this young man on his first duck hunt!) in the layout, and me with in warm and wonderful Texas beating on some puddlers. Pretty solid Saturday.
