MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL AT THE A!

The Bunkie Panthers are coming to Moreauville on Monday, September 14, to take on our Avoyelles Mustangs in Junior High and Junior Varsity football action at Avoyelles High School!

🐎 Junior High kicks off at 5:30 PM, with the Junior Varsity game to follow!

Come out, pack the stands, bring the Mustang energy, and support our young men as they compete under the lights!

Message from Coach Bannister after last night’s heartbreaking loss.

Last night hurt. There’s really no other way to put it. To have a double-digit lead and watch it turn into a double-digit loss is one of the most humbling experiences you can have as a coach. Credit to Sacred Heart Football for showing tremendous perseverance and determination. They kept fighting, never gave up, and earned it. Much respect. More importantly, our thoughts and prayers are with the student-athlete who suffered the unfortunate leg injury and the student who experienced cardiac arrest. We pray for healing, strength, and a full recovery for both.
As for our Mustangs, we will OWN it, LEARN from it, and GROW from it. We’ll get back to work, practice harder, correct our mistakes, and prepare for the next opportunity. I believe in our coaches. I believe in our players. And I believe in myself.
Adversity doesn’t define us—how we RESPOND to it does. WE WILL BE BETTER!

🏈 GAME DAY AT THE A! 🏈

Mustang Nation, we’re back home Thursday, September 10 as the Avoyelles Mustangs host the Sacred Heart Trojans! Kickoff is set for 7:00 PM at Avoyelles High School.

🎟️ Game Tickets: $12
🔥 Tailgating Passes: $40 — includes 2 game tickets

As we get ready for a great night of football, we want everyone to help us create a safe, positive, family-friendly atmosphere. Please remember our 2026–27 Athletic Event Guidelines and Tailgating Rules. K–8th grade students must be accompanied and supervised by an adult, there is no re-entry, only clear bags are permitted, and spectators should remain seated during the event. No outside food/drinks or coolers are permitted inside the event, and there is no loitering in the parking lot or surrounding areas.

For our tailgaters: no alcohol, tobacco/vaping, or illegal drugs; no music containing profanity; clean up your area; respect our campus and fellow fans; and keep it family-friendly.

Come early, tailgate responsibly, bring the energy, and help us show Sacred Heart what Mustang Nation is all about!
