Wrapping up an incredible fall with the Clark State baseball pitching staff! ⚾🔥

This team has been in the building every single day this fall — and on top of their regular training, our Top Velocity Dayton staff has had these pitchers two mornings a week for two months, putting in dedicated pitching development work. The buy-in from this group has been outstanding.

Our team training block is complete, but we’re not done yet. Top Velocity Dayton will keep working with Clark State’s pitchers one-on-one throughout October to carry that momentum into the offseason.

The JUCO route isn’t the easy road — it takes grit and a willingness to bet on yourself. But if you’re serious about developing, this is exactly where you want to be. We have no doubt several of these arms are going to make a real impact this spring for Clark State, and beyond that, for whatever four-year program comes next.

Huge thank you to the Clark State coaching staff for trusting Top Velocity Dayton with your pitchers again. Excited to watch this group compete this spring. 🎯

One year ago, Charlie Schafer walked in as an intern at Top Velocity Dayton. Today, he steps into a brand new role:

⚡️Director of Player Development ⚡️

Over the past year, Charlie went from learning the ropes to leading our biggest training groups — becoming one of the most important coaches and people in this program. His growth at the facility, on the field, and with our athletes day in and day out has been undeniable, and this promotion is well earned.

Charlie has poured into countless athletes here in Dayton, Ohio, and we couldn’t be more excited to see what he builds next — as a coach, as a leader, and as a person.
