Mora Classic Series

Mora Classic Series Starting with the 2014 Canoe Race there are now TWO Mora Classic Series Options. The award will not change with landmark years as the Mora Classic awards are.

The Mora Classic Series is a four-part event which includes: Snake River Canoe Race (May), Mora Half Marathon (August), Mora Bike Tour (September), and Vasaloppet USA cross country ski race (Feburary). MORA CLASSIC (canoe race, half marathon, 50 mile bike, 35k or longer Vasaloppet USA) - this is the traditional option. MOTION SERIES (canoe race, 5k run, 25 mile bike, 13k Vasaloppet)

As it has bee

n in the last several years, these events can be started at any point in the year, but all 4 events must be completed in series. Awards will be presented to those that finish the Motion Series, but will be the same award each year. This addition was made to foster involvement for those who feel that they want to participate, but do not feel ready to complete the longer events. Questions? Join in the Vasaloppet BINGO FUN this Thursday 7/10 at Sapsucker Farms. Doors open at 5:30, $50 BINGO prizes, plus $300 coverall. 14 games for $25 and $1 for extra BINGO cards. Food and beverages available for purchase. See you there!

The Vasaloppet USA 2025 is on Saturday February 8, 2025 to Sunday February 9, 2025. It includes the following events: Vasa 48km, Dala 34km, Bellringer 12km, The Team 12km, Classic 42 km, Half Classic 21 km, and Miniloppet.
