The boys outperformed themselves at the MSHSL State Meet. It was an unforgettable day! Senior Cole Schwarzbauer made finals of triple jump earning 9th and his first state medal with a jump of 43-0.75. The 4x200 of Jude Houglum, Cole Schwarzbauer, Brayden Brambach, and Youenn Laine ran phenomenally. They came into the state meet ranked 25/25 in a stacked field and finished as 11, running a 1:31.34 and the second best time in school history. This is the first year in the history of Class A Championships that time didn’t make finals and medal (1:30.73 was the last time in.) Most years that time wouldn’t place worse than 5th. Pretty awesome to see our sport improving, and while a bummer to miss finals, dropping 2 seconds from their sections time is incredibly impressive. Thanks to all our Mora T&F family and fans for your support and making this season one to remember. See you next year!

And we are off! We are so excited to watch these boys finish the season (and for some of them, their last races as Mora Mustangs) in the best possible way. Meet starts 3:30 with Cole in the triple jump & relay approximately 4:45!

What a fun day watching our athletes give it everything they had at the Section 5A Championships at St. John’s University on Wednesday. It was a perfect weather day for track and field and our athletes took advantage! The top 8 received medals in all events: Here is how our athletes fared:
