This marks the 20th year of the Moorpark Rotary Golf Invitational. There will be one flight, a completely Open Texas Scramble. The Invitational will occur at the Moorpark Country Club which was rated by Golf Magazine as one of the “Top 10 Best New Places You Can Play”. Most recently, GolfWeek Magazine ranked Moorpark Country Club as one of the “Best Built New Courses”. The Moorpar
k Country Club is a Peter Jacobsen masterpiece! Designed for memorable golf moments and scenic beauty it is recognized as offering one of the most pleasing course layouts in America. The design team of PGA touring professional, Peter Jacobsen and design partner Jim Hardy, have created 27 holes of championship golf that’s unparalleled. The Moorpark Country Club has installed “Parview” Global Positioning System’s (GPS) on all golf carts! As the first and only golf course in Ventura County and Northern Los Angeles County to utilize this technology, golf players will enjoy this added benefit. Players are offered exact distances from where their ball is with yardages to the pin and various hazards or points of reference as well as leader board standings.
