We are excited to welcome Madeline Modica to the Arena LKN family! Coach Madeline brings 15 years of experience as both a competitive player and coach. A former Division II softball player at Converse University, she earned numerous honors including:

• 1st in throw outs Conference Carolinas (2023 & 2024)
• NFCA Scholar Athlete Recognition
• CSC Academic All-District Selection (2023 & 2024)
• Defensive MVP 2024
• All-American Conference Carolina’s Defensive Selection (2023 & 2024)
• Former Assistant Coach – Comets 16u Showcase Team
Coaching Areas Include:
Hitting: Develop explosive bat speed, refine swing mechanics, improve pitch recognition, and build a winning mental approach at the plate.
Catching: Sharpen throw-down mechanics, pitch framing, blocking techniques, and game awareness to control every aspect behind the plate.
Overall Defense: Perfect your positioning, footwork, and glove skills for both infield and outfield. Learn defensive strategies that turn great plays into routine ones.
Mental Coaching: Develop a reframed mindset with intentional mental training designed to sharpen focus, build resilience, and unlock new skills quickly.
Coach Madeline blends her technical softball expertise with a strong background in Psychology and Child & Family Studies, offering a well-rounded training approach. Her focus on both skill development and mental toughness helps athletes build confidence, resilience, and focus. With a leadership style that motivates and inspires, Coach Madeline strives to help players achieve their full potential and succeed on and off the field.
