You can do all the workouts in the comfort of your home. Maximize Your Performance-To maximize your golf performance, the golf athlete needs to do a variety of different exercises and workouts to build overall fitness. There are seven physical performance factors that are crucial to every golf-conditioning program: posture, balance, mobility, stability, power, coordination, and endurance. I incorporate all these elements into my CardioGolf Fitness System so that you, not only get a great workout, but also improve your swing technique. The ideal way to train for golf is using a technique called Periodization. Periodization is the process of varying a training program at regular time intervals to bring about optimal gains in physical performance. Periodization is a fancy word for seasonal training. In other words, you need to mix it up and do a variety of exercises during the year. Your workouts should fit the season you are in. Even if you play golf all year round, you still need to vary your workouts so not to plateau. In order to build strength, you need to constantly push yourself by increasing intensity and resistance. But you also need to allow your body periods of rest to recover, so you don’t always want to be doing intense workouts. I design all CardioGolf workouts to maximize golf performance.

In today’s Swing Fundamentals Daily Dose, we’re taking a closer look at how the trail (back) arm works throughout the swing. Understanding the role of the back arm can help improve your backswing, sequencing, club delivery, and overall contact.

Learn how the back arm folds, supports the club, and works with your body to create a more connected, athletic motion.

CardioGolf Daily Dose ⛳

This is how we use the CardioGolf® Fit Wedge for pitching drills.

The Fit Wedge helps you learn proper sequencing and the correct angle of attack so you can make crisp, ball-first contact.

Instead of scooping the ball into the air, learn to let your body sequence correctly and allow the club to strike the ball first, then the turf.

Better pitching starts with better movement.

Do you see it?

At impact, there are two forces working in opposite directions.

As your lower body starts moving toward the target, your upper body is still completing the backswing. That separation creates resistance, sequence, and lag.

You don’t create lag by trying to hold your wrists.

You create lag through proper sequencing.

This is true in the full swing and it’s true in pitching.

A pitch shot is simply a mini version of the full swing.

The lower body begins to unwind while the upper body finishes loading. That opposing motion helps the club stay behind your hands, creating the correct angle of attack and solid contact.

When sequence improves, lag happens naturally.

Don’t force it.

Train the motion.

Fit Wedge Drill: Dial In Your Wedges

Want to hit crisper wedge shots and make better contact?

Place the CardioGolf® Fit Wedge just behind the ball and make your normal wedge swing. The goal is to miss the wedge and strike the ball first.

This simple drill helps you develop the correct angle of attack, improve low-point control, and eliminate the tendency to scoop or hit behind the ball.

Remember:

Ball first. Turf second.

Train the correct impact position and start compressing your wedge shots with confidence.

Don’t swing harder. Swing smarter. ⛳

Welcome to CardioGolf® Performance Plan – Week 24

Week 24 is a special week on the calendar. We are approaching the longest days of the year, golf season is in full swing, and there is still plenty of time left in the year to make meaningful improvements to your game, fitness, and overall well-being.

Many golfers begin the season with big goals but lose momentum as life gets busy. This week is a great reminder that progress doesn’t require perfection—it requires consistency. Small daily actions add up. A few minutes of mobility, strength training, swing practice, or mindful movement each day can create lasting improvements by the end of the season.

As golfers, we often focus on outcomes—scores, handicaps, distance, and results. But the best players understand that success comes from committing to the process. Every workout, every practice swing, every stretch, and every round is an opportunity to build better habits.

This week, challenge yourself to focus on what you can control:
✔ Move your body daily
✔ Practice with purpose
✔ Stay committed to your routine
✔ Trust the process

Remember, the year isn’t halfway over. There are still plenty of opportunities ahead to gain strength, improve mobility, increase confidence, and play your best golf.

See it. Feel it. Trust it.

Let’s make Week 24 a week of momentum.

⛳ Struggling with chunked or scooped pitch shots?

The secret isn’t lifting the ball into the air—it’s learning to strike the ball first with a slight downward angle of attack.

That’s exactly why we created the CardioGolf® Fit Wedge.

Place the Fit Wedge just behind the ball and learn to:
✅ Hit the ball first
✅ Move your low point in front of the ball
✅ Create crisp contact
✅ Use the club’s loft and bounce correctly

Remember:

“Hit the ball first. Let the club lift it.”

“Great pitch shots are compressed, not scooped.”

“Ball first, turf second—that’s the recipe for crisp pitches.”

Stop guessing and start training the correct motion.
