The St Thomas More Knights of Columbus council #7431 is again hosting the Indiana State Council’s K of C Council Level Youth Soccer Challenge Competition in Mooresville.
All boys and girls ages 9 to 14 can participate in the local level of competition for the 2026 Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge. The competition is on Saturday, September 12th from 9:00 AM-2:00 PM at Pioneer Park Soccer Fields, Mooresville. Each contestant receives three warm-up kicks followed by 15 consecutive penalty kick attempts from the foul line.
Winners progress through regional and state competitions. State champions are eligible for consideration for international awards announced by the K of C International Headquarters in New Haven, CT, based on scores from state-level competitions. All boys and girls 9 to 14-years-old are eligible to participate and will compete in their respective age divisions. All contestants are recognized for their participation in the event. Participants are required to provide proof of age and written parental consent. Age is determined by their age on Sept 1, 2026

Stop by fields 11 and 12 at Pioneer Park on Saturday between 9-2 to participate in the free soccer challenge. It only takes a few minutes of penalty kicks. We will be honoring one of our players at 8:30 Saturday morning for winning at the National level last year. Attached is the parent permission form that you can bring with to speed up the process on Saturday. They will have forms available on site also.
