The Renegades continue on their quest in semi-finals of the State Tournament as they take on Mount Laurel today (Monday 7/9) at 6PM in Moorestown Prior Baseball Complex.

Medford Grabs Lead In Ninth Inning To Defeat Washington Twp And Advance To State Tournament Semifinals!!!

Medford Renegades snatched the lead late in the game in an 11-4 victory over Washington Twp on Saturday. The game was tied at four with Medford batting in the top of the ninth when Christian G. singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.
Medford Renegades secured the victory thanks to seven runs in the ninth inning. Christian, Nick R., Braden H., Brendan M., and Reid U. each drove in runs during the inning.
In the second inning, Medford got their offense started when Christian singled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.
Vinny S. led things off on the hill for the Renegades. He went five innings, allowing two runs on three hits and striking out five.
Short started the game for Washington Twp. He allowed six hits and two runs over four innings, striking out one. Nazami and Sharkey entered the game as relief, throwing three innings and two innings respectively.
Medford Renegades socked three home runs on the day. Nick put one out in the seventh inning. Brendan went yard in the ninth inning. Reid went deep in the ninth inning.
The Renegades scattered 12 hits in the game. Nick, Brendan, Christian, and Reid each collected multiple hits for Medford. Reid, Christian, Brendan, and Nick all had two hits to lead the Renegades. Medford stole 12 bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Braden led the way with three. Medford Renegades didn't commit a single error in the field. Michael P. had five chances in the field, the most on the team.
Nazami went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Washington Twp in hits. Nazami led Washington Twp with four stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with seven stolen bases.

Medford Advances In The State Tournament As Reid’s Walk-Off Seals The Deal In Renegades Victory Over Hamilton Little Lads

Medford took Thursday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 7-6 walk-off victory over Hamilton Little Lads. Renegades were down 6-5 in the bottom of the sixth inning when Reid U. doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.
Medford Renegades built a four-run lead in the fifth inning and then held off Hamilton Little Lads's charge. Hamilton Little Lads scored four runs in the failed comeback on a single by Calleadilla and a couple of errors.
Medford fired up the offense in the first inning, when Meara threw a wild pitch allowing one run across the plate for the Renegades.
Brendan M. toed the rubber for Medford. He lasted four and two-thirds innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out 11.
Meara was on the hill for Hamilton. He allowed one hit and three runs over four and a third innings, striking out ten. Green threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Medford Renegades socked one home run on the day. Reid went deep in the fifth inning.
Reid led Medford with two hits in four at bats.
Hamilton Little Lads stole nine bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Calleadilla led the way with three.

Medford Renegades Defeat Sacred Heart And Advance To The District Tournament Finals

Both teams were strong on the pitcher's mound Friday, but Medford Renegades defeated Sacred Heart 2-1. Medford’s pitchers allowed just five hits to Sacred Heart.
Brendan M. led things off on the hill for Renegades. He went five and two-thirds innings, allowing one run on five hits, striking out nine and walking one.
Rich was on the pitcher's mound for Sacred Heart. He surrendered two runs on four hits over five innings, striking out five.
Christian G, Brendan, Michael P, and Ben H each managed one hit to lead Medford.
Sacred Heart didn't commit a single error in the field. Myers had six chances in the field, the most on the team.

Medford Renegades Clinch Lead In The Fifth Inning To Defeat Sacred Heart In Their First Game Of The District Tournament!

Medford Renegades stole the lead late and defeated Sacred Heart 3-2 on Tuesday. The game was tied at two with the Renegades batting in the top of the fifth when Vinny doubled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.
The pitching was strong on both sides. Medford pitchers struck out five, while Sacred Heart pitchers sat down three.
Medford Renegades fired up the offense in the first inning, when Ben singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.
In the bottom of the third inning, Sacred Heart tied things up at two. Harvey doubled on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs.
Brendan was on the pitcher's mound for Medford. He lasted five and two-thirds innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out five.
Gavin was on the mound for Sacred Heart. He went four and two-thirds innings, allowing three runs on seven hits, striking out three and walking one. Rich threw one and one-third innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Medford Renegades racked up seven hits on the day. Brendan and Reid all had multiple hits for Medford. Reid and Brendan each collected two hits to lead the Renegades.
