What a fun evening! Even if the weather decided to act like March, it didn’t stop this crew from their summer kick-off and Track & Field Awards event. Not quite sure who had more fun… the big kids getting to be kids or the adults watching them act like little kids!

We finished off the evening with a wonderful pot luck dinner and celebrating both our JH & HS teams. Lots of new school records were replaced tonight on the old record board!

Shoutout to my seniors, thank you for everything the past 6 years and I cannot wait to see what your future holds!

Pretty proud of these kids. While many are sleeping in on a weekend morning, these athletes are out there putting in the work and getting a road race under their belts.

That says a lot about their commitment, discipline, and the kind of culture we’re continuing to build. Proud is an understatement. Excited to see where the summer takes this group.

Track & Field Summer Kickoff is almost here!

We’re wrapping up another memorable season and kicking off summer the best way we know how… together. Join us for an evening of food, fun, awards, games, slip & slide activities and plenty of Bearcat Track & Field fellowship.

STATE CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND.

Our Mooreland Track & Field athletes stepped onto Oklahoma’s biggest stage and competed their hearts out against the very best Class 2A had to offer. In a season loaded with elite competition across the state, our kids continued to rise to the occasion with toughness, confidence, and determination.

This weekend saw new Mooreland School Records, State medals, huge personal performances, and memories that will last a lifetime. From relay squads rewriting the record board to Reece Hensley shattering the 800M School Record with a 3rd place State finish, our athletes proved once again they belong among Oklahoma’s best.

I could not be more proud of this group!

We’re making history, and this crew just raised the bar again! It’s no easy feat to get your name on that Mooreland Track & Field record board. Some of these stood for years, and it takes athletes who put in the work and deliver when it counts to break them.

This season, our crew showed up and stepped up.

NEW SCHOOL RECORD AT THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!

These girls flat out competed on the biggest stage. In a loaded Class 2A field, the Lady Bearcats stepped up and delivered a huge performance in the 1600m Relay, resetting the Mooreland school record with a 4:18.14.

Alissa Eilers, Tadem Ryel, Haylee Hedges, and Hannah Clem ran tough, stayed composed, and kept putting themselves in position all race long. State is where you hope to see your athletes peak, and this crew absolutely did that. They trusted their training, trusted each other, and went after it.

Breaking a school record at the State Championship is a pretty special accomplishment, especially in this kind of competition. Could not be more proud of the way these girls represented Mooreland Track & Field all season long.
