State Track Day Two footage is here, and what a way to close out the season for our Bearcats and Lady Bearcats. Our athletes stepped onto the biggest stage in Class 2A and delivered phenomenal performances all across the board against some incredibly tough competition.

From podium finishes and school records to gutsy efforts and unforgettable moments, this group competed with confidence, heart, and pride all weekend long. State meets are about rising to the moment, and our crews absolutely did that.

Could not be more proud of the way these athletes represented Mooreland, their teammates, coaches, families, and community. Please enjoy highlights from Day Two of the OSSAA State Track & Field Championships, including medal moments, celebrations, and memories from an outstanding finish to the season.

State Track Day One is in the books, and our Bearcats and Lady Bearcats showed up ready to compete in some absolutely stout championship competition. From the first event to the final race of the evening, our crews battled hard, represented Mooreland well, and put themselves in great position heading into finals and day two.

There were big performances, personal bests, qualifying spots earned, and plenty of moments that reminded us why this group is so much fun to coach and support. The atmosphere at the State Meet is always special, and our athletes embraced every bit of it.

Please enjoy a look at Day One from Western Heights, featuring action shots, celebrations, and a few behind-the-scenes moments from an exciting opening day at the OSSAA State Track & Field Championships.

Meet Our JH & HS Staff

This week we’re proud to recognize three individuals whose leadership, experience, and dedication help shape the success of Mooreland Public Schools each day.

Theron Graybill serves as Superintendent and has spent the past three years helping lead and support our district. His commitment to students, staff, and the future of Mooreland continues to guide important decisions both inside and outside the classroom. His leadership and vision play an important role in helping our school community continue moving forward.

Chris Callison serves as the Superintendent’s Administrative Assistant and has been a dependable and welcoming presence in the district office for twelve years. Her organization, care, and willingness to help others make her an essential part of the daily operations of our school system.

Tim Callison teaches History and also coaches, helping students grow both academically and athletically. Over the past twelve years, he has built strong relationships with students while sharing his passion for learning, competition, and leadership.

We are grateful for the commitment, experience, and support these three individuals bring to Mooreland Public Schools every day.

If you see Mr. Graybill, Mrs. Callison, or Mr. Callison this week, take a moment to thank them for all they do.

There were a lot of moments from this regional meet that we’ll remember for a long time. State tickets getting punched, relays going crazy after races, huge PRs, and our seniors getting one last run through the regional atmosphere made it a really fun day to be part of.

This second album has more action shots, candid moments from around the meet, and a bunch of photos from both the boys and girls teams as they battled through a super competitive regional. Lots of laughs, loud cheering, nervous moments, and memories packed into this one.

This year’s regional meet was extremely balanced across the board, and every point, place, and performance mattered. Our Bearcats and Lady Bearcats stepped into a loaded field and took care of business all day long.

From big PRs and medal performances to emotional state-qualifying moments, this team competed with confidence and toughness from start to finish. This first album includes a mix of boys and girls action, candid moments, celebrations, and scenes from a very successful day for Mooreland Track & Field.

We’re incredibly proud of this crew and the way they represented Mooreland.

More photos are still coming in Part 2!

Meet Our JH & HS Staff

This week we’re proud to recognize two staff members who help support our students and campus in countless ways each day.

Tina Smith serves as a Study Skills Aide, Library Aide, and Bus Driver. For fourteen years, she has been a caring and dependable presence for students, always willing to lend a helping hand wherever needed. Whether she’s assisting students academically, helping in the library, or safely transporting students, her kindness and dedication make a lasting difference across our campus.

Terry Lawson works in Maintenance and helps keep our facilities running smoothly behind the scenes. In his two years at Mooreland, he has taken on the everyday tasks that help create a safe and well-maintained environment for our students and staff. His hard work and reliability are appreciated throughout the district.

We are grateful for the commitment, positivity, and support both of these staff members bring to Mooreland Public Schools each day.

If you see Mrs. Smith or Mr. Lawson this week, take a moment to thank them for all they do.
