We started a journey into the world of screw blowers for the first time this year. It has been a struggle in the first couple of outings but we got some great advice/help from the best to ever do it, King Tutt, as well as put a ton of work in ourselves to resolve all of the issues that plagued us so far.
At PDRA Racing DragWars this weekend at Galot, the work finally started to show. After a lackluster 3.900@193 in our first test pass on Thursday, we were able to make the right adjustments to finally make representative runs in qualifying of 3.72, 3.71 and 3.666@206+ mph. We now have a hot rod and just need some more laps to get where we need to be to compete in Pro Boost, one of the toughest classes on the planet. That 3.66@206 set both ends of our personal best and was part of one of the best qualifying sessions that you will EVER see... PDRA is a class act, great organization and great people. Very happy to have been a part of this last event and looking forward to the PDRA Virginia race in a few weeks.
