Let me brag on this kid right here. Cara has been with us for 2 seasons now. She has always been quiet, not very social, but always gives respect and tries hard. She has blossomed so much. She has come out of her shell. She has come up clutch in many games this season. This week was our last league night of the season. She scored her first in the park home run (even though I told her to stay at third 🥴) but she made it home!! The smile on this kids face coming back to the dugout was absolutely priceless. The score didn’t matter in that moment for that was a victory in itself.

Today, for the last day of school she chose to represent her team. She is proud to call Rogue her team and we are proud to call her ours!

Big and exciting changes are coming for us for next season! This is a great opportunity for our girls that will help take us to the next level! Rogue is our foundation and we will take those principles with us as we become Lady Legends 2014.

Lady Legends is an established organization out of OKC that has exemplified success in their current and past seasons. Like Rogue, they have a family first atmosphere that encompasses passion for our players and passion for the game. “Strong mind, Strong body” isn’t just their motto, but a way of positive discipline for our young athletes.

We thank the Lady Legends for welcoming us into their organization and look forward to sharing our success with them for many seasons to come!

We had bases loaded last night and Treasyre came up to bat and hit a grand slam! Our girls came to play in that second game. Way to go, Treasyre!!!

Tonight was bittersweet. It was our last league night playing as Rogue together. The score didn’t matter, we had fun and cheered each other on! Rogue has done many, many great things for so many girls the last couple of years. It’s only up from here!

This is always the goal. You never know what is going on at home or just in that day. Sometimes, it only takes a smile, I’ve got you, or a high 5 will go a long way. Mental health matters. Pull in your athletes, not push them away. For those few hours a week you get them you have the choice if you want to make an impact positively or negatively. 💛🖤
