Speaking of Championships, the Woodmoor Riptides Summer Swim Team had their City Championship meet this past weekend. There were many best times and the improvement these athletes have shown is such a short time is amazing! And Eli placed third for High Point!

A huge congratulations to these 3 cool kids who completed at age group state last weekend! The had great performances and we look forward to the future of swimming at the Woodmoor Tsunamis Swim Team!

We had an amazing showing at Long Course State. We swam our hearts out and had a great time doing it! Congratulations to Mackenzie, Quynn, Dom and Christian for showing true grit. In the end, we came out on top as the Senior Long course State Champs for small teams! Also, Mackenzie won the high point award for 13-14 girls! Quynn tied for second in the high point race as well!

Long Course Senior State begins tomorrow with Quynn swimming the 1500 free. Then we have Christian, Mackenzie and Dom competing starting Friday. Good luck to our State swimmers!

It was a busy weekend for Woodmoor swimming! In addition to the Tsunamis at the Age Group Championships, our summer team, the Riptide, participated in their League Championship meet at Rampart High School! The kids had a great time! Lots of time improvements, the best cheering of all the teams, and Eli earned third place high point in the Boys 8 & Under category! The meet was capped of with a coach/parent relay! What a fantastic weekend to finish off the season!

At the Age Group Long Course Championship Meet this past weekend, Tsunami swimmer William won the Boys 12 & Under 200 Meter Breaststroke! In doing so, he became our teams second ever State Champion! Congratulations William on a great swim! Here's hoping for many more!
