Please join us March 7th at 6pm! We will start with an explanation of the astrological significance of the month’s full moon followed by a meditation to tune into how you have been feeling the last month. We will then flow through a moon-themed flow! Crescent moons, moon salutations, half moons, etc. Rather than moving front to back on the mat like in traditional vinyasa classes, we will be moving side to side on the mat. This is a gentle flow class with many opportunities to open up through the heart and stretch into the hips. All levels are welcome! This class is meant to help you connect with yourself, ground, and let go of anything not serving you.

Dearest Yoga House Community,

Thank You.
I love You.

As I pass the baton, I am filled with indescribable joy and honor to be able to hold space for this community.

Through this journey I have been faced with so many heart filled twists and turns, all of which paid homage to this path of yoga.

With my latest and greatest surprise to date, I realized how important it is to cherish these times as they come only once in a lifetime.

To feel pulled by passion and the calling of motherhood was quite a dance.. there is no loss here in any sense- only gain of wisdom, wherewithal and an outpouring of love to let the spirit of life to guide me. To be humbled by the shift in direction.

I bow to the power this sweet yoga community holds as we transition into a new Era of Yoga House. Where the studio with continue to thrive with its newest owner,
In my humble opinion she is an angel here to keep this dream alive.

There is so much magic to come, and I am overjoyed to pass this baton.

Studio Update:

We have some exciting news in regards to the bright future of the studio and our space… and the dream continues!

YOGA HOUSE IS MOVING!

But before we do we are taking a much needed winter hibernation, maternity leave, reopening spring 2023 with a renovated freshened space.

To recap this year and this journey
So many things have happened all at once. As we took over this amazing business we never anticipated half of the things we have experienced, finding routine with our young family, just as we thought we were finding a groove, my dad suddenly passed last year. As we came into this new year we unexpectedly received a surprise blessing due any day now. In the time of growing a baby running a studio and being a busy mama a few things have come into my realization.

My hope was to take a little postpartum hiatus and return back stronger then ever but in this time of launching these offerings this summer and fall and experiencing a few slow periods it dawned on me. How important rest and rejuvenation is. How important it is to go slow and to love the ones your with. Just as I have held space for the community, I need to really hold space for my growing family for my kids and their fleeting tininess. I also need a much needed time of rest, its not easy growing a baby, raising a family and running a business. So Its time to go home. For a little bit that is.

Its been a miracle of a journey to keep the studio alive since Aug of 2020. We plan on bringing all of these dreams to a bigger reality after taking a small winter hibernation maternity leave with the launch of our rebranded freshly updated studio space.

It has been a dream, it has offered immense growth and realization after realization. A true path of yoga. As always your support is everything for our forward motion and we thank you for continually being there with us!

Lots of beautiful offering’s happening this month!

Join us for a Full Moon Flow with a special yoga class once a month dedicated to our honoring our cycles and connection with the full moon. When you are busy and out and about during the full moon things can tend to be a little chaotic, wonky and out of sorts. This is a perfect time to gather with the community for a mindful evening of movement and relaxation.

During the full moon phase It’s important to do relaxing and nourishing activities as it can often be a time for conscious reflection and letting go.

In the spirit of Gathering and Giving :
We are brought to this conclusion,

It takes a village.

It take a community to hold up a collective.

It takes a group effort to keep spirit alive.

If we want to go fast then we go alone, if we want to go far then we go together.

On a bright note We are happy to announce we are currently donating 10 vouchers to our community crisis center donated by a lovely woman in town. We are also looking to donating 10 vouchers to Casa our community resource center for children in need donated by another. Through our Buy one gift one campaign. All linked above.

With these drop in vouchers we can bring yoga to those that need it most.

Our free teacher spa event last week was very successful, 6 beautiful school teachers from our local school district came and enjoyed an evening of connection, ultimate relaxation and mindfulness. The joy and gratitude giving has brought is priceless.
The teachers of our town do so much for our kids.

We have so much light to bring and continue to do so through a community effort.
We strive to bring this light no matter what. On that note, our studio is currently working hard to build momentum to keep our doors open. Rising cost, slow periods, We started these campaigns to bring momentum to our space, give to those in need, and stay true to our mission.

In all transparency,Yoga House is on the verge of closing its doors. We started these campaigns to bring our community in. With one last push for the momentum we need to sustain as a physical space and service we also started a go fund me to help raise capital. Linked above.

The word Yoga Translates to Union, to yoke, to bring together, and while this individualized practice is so impactful for bringing union within, a shala and yoga space has the power of bringing those in our community together in a powerful union as well.

Our mission at Yoga House is the be a lighthouse of hope and support during this time of transition after the world vastly shifted over night.

We understand that this takes alot but even just sharing can be an invaluable gift with little investment.
