We’ve decided to extend our 2027 Early Team Store through August 5th! 🎉

If you haven’t had a chance to check it out yet, you’ve got a few extra days to grab your favorite gear!

Whether you’re a player, parent, grandparent, or fan, there’s something for everyone.

👀 You’ll also get a sneak peek at some of the gear you’ll be seeing throughout the 2027 season.

This extension gives everyone one last opportunity to order before the next team store opens in March.

The next chapter of Montrose Post 154 Mountaineers Baseball starts now!

After another memorable summer of competition, growth, and unforgettable moments, we’re excited to officially open registration for the 2027 American Legion Baseball season.

Whether you’re returning to the Mountaineers family or looking to wear the blue and white for the first time, we can’t wait to see what next season has in store.

⚾ Senior Legion (19U)
⚾ Junior Legion (17U)

Our mission remains the same—to provide players throughout Susquehanna County with a competitive, positive, and developmental baseball experience while representing our communities with pride.

🏆 Montrose Senior Legion Player of the Year 🏆

Some players have great seasons. Others become the heartbeat of their team.

Jeremy Slick didn’t just produce, he set the standard.

From Opening Day to the final out, Jeremy was the engine that powered our offense. Every time he stepped into the batter’s box, he had the ability to change the course of a game. Whether it was delivering clutch hits, launching balls over the fence, or coming through when the pressure was on, Jeremy consistently rose to the occasion.

His season was nothing short of outstanding:
🔥 .441 Batting Average
⚾ 15 Hits
💣 2 Home Runs

While those numbers are impressive, they only tell part of the story. Jeremy’s competitive spirit, confidence, and relentless drive made him one of the most impactful players in our program this season. He played the game the right way and earned the respect of his teammates, coaches, and opponents alike.

For his incredible performance and leadership, we’re proud to name Jeremy Slick the 2026 Montrose Senior Legion Player of the Year!

Jeremy, congratulations on an unforgettable season and a well-deserved honor. Thank you for everything you’ve brought to the Mountaineers this year. We truly hope this isn’t the last time we see you wearing a Mountaineers uniform, because players like you leave a lasting impact on a program. 🏆 Montrose Junior 2 Player of the Year 🏆

The best players don’t just put up numbers, they change the game every time they step between the lines.

Congratulations to Lucas Gesford on being named the 2026 Montrose Junior 2 Player of the Year!

Lucas was the spark that fueled Junior 2 all season long. Every at-bat brought the chance for something special, and time after time, he delivered. Whether it was setting the tone at the top of the lineup, driving the offense, or finding a way to get on base, Lucas was a player opponents had to account for every single game.

His season speaks for itself:
🔥 .459 Batting Average
💥 17 Hits
⚡ 13 Runs Scored

Those numbers are impressive, but what made Lucas stand out was the way he competed. He played with confidence, intensity, and a passion for the game that never wavered. He was the engine that kept Junior 2 moving and a leader through both the highs and the challenges of the season.

Lucas, congratulations on an outstanding season and a well-deserved Player of the Year award. You earned every bit of this recognition, and we’re excited to see where your game takes you next.

🏆 Montrose Junior 1 Player of the Year 🏆

There are good seasons… and then there are seasons that define a team.

Congratulations to Jesse Keating on being named the 2026 Montrose Junior 1 Player of the Year! 👏💙

When the lights were brightest, Jesse delivered.

Whether it was dominating on the mound or coming through at the plate, he was a player his teammates and coaches could count on every single game. He finished the season with a scorching .455 batting average, collected 10 hits, and struck out 18 batters on the mound, proving he could change the game in more ways than one.

But this award isn’t just about numbers.

It’s about competing every inning, leading by example, and raising the level of everyone around you. Jesse’s relentless work ethic, confidence, and drive to win made him one of the most complete players in the league and a huge reason behind Junior 1’s incredible run to the District 11 Championship Series.

Jesse, thank you for everything you brought to the Mountaineers this season. Your passion for the game and commitment to your teammates never went unnoticed.

2026 Junior 1 Player of the Year.
