IT’S TIME! Get your applications in early and skip all the chaos at the deadline. We can’t wait to see everyone!

Hunters, the wait is over! The 2026 big game primary draw is finally here.

Starting today (March 1) we are accepting applications, so submit early and take the pressure off. Now is the time to see your hard work and studying pay off. Make sure you have your big game brochure and Colorado Outdoors preference point issue handy, because it never hurts to double check your work.

As you apply in the primary draw, remember there are plenty of opportunities to get out there and hunt. Whether you’re after a long-awaited lifetime tag or just getting started with big game hunting, the primary draw is the first stop on this adventure.

The deadline to apply and make application corrections is April 7 at 8pm MT, but don’t delay. Sleep soundly knowing you submitted in March.

2025 Christmas Tree tags are officially notched! As we spent our last snowy day in Duckett Park for the season, we couldn’t help but reminisce on the miles, memories and laughs shared. THANK YOU to each and every one of you that made our year so special.

Congrats to Joseph Severson, the 2nd Prize (A Fully Guided Colorado Bear Hunt) winner of last year’s MOA Summer Sportsman’s Raffle, who bagged a really nice Bear with Duckett Park Outfitter’s! Thank you to all of our supporters who make these events and opportunities possible, and thank you to Johnny Deti for your expertise as a guide, and Shane and Sharon Nicolas for being such awesome hosts! This is a great way for MOA to kick off our list of Fall Events!

Last week cameras were checked to find some great looking elk, healthy and well fed! The grass is still very green and there is a lot of water still running in the springs!
