Here’s the truth: real life looks a lot messier than that.

My background isn’t what most people expect from a personal trainer.
Before Uncover Strength, I worked in probation, case management, parent coaching, and youth sports.
I supported families navigating child welfare, poverty, and systems that often failed them.
I helped parents rebuild relationships.
I sat beside them in IEP meetings.
I coached girls who didn’t see their own potential yet.
That work shaped everything about how I see people.
It taught me that judgment hardens,
but empathy opens doors.
Fitness is no different.
You can hold someone accountable without shaming them.
You can challenge a woman and make her feel seen.
Writing strength and running programs still gives me a rush, sure—
but watching a client start to believe in herself?
That’s the magic.
