Race family and friends!

On June 27, 2026 Lights Over Sharpsville is hosting their annual festival and fireworks show!

That being said, we are looking for drivers who are willing to participate in a ā€œTouch a car& meet and greet!ā€ With us!

Philip Doud is already roped in & committed (whether he knows it or not) but we think it would be Amazing to have more than two cars there for the kids!

If you’re willing to participate message Jess to let us know & to get more info!

We hope everyone is having a wonderful Monday, on this not so bright and shiny day.

We’ve touched a little on the situation that occurred at Montpelier Speedway by The Milkman Saturday with the car, but thought we would explain some more.

We couldn’t get traction in qualifying or the heat, so we asked for some advice. Some Advice was given by good ole Chris, it was GREAT advice, but like always with the 2P Chasis - nothing ever goes as it should.

Over the past 6 months, we have learned just how bent and rough this chasis is. We have had to fix the frame after every race and well it finally came back to haunt us.
Simply working with the trailing arms caused the rear end to snap downwards, pulling the drive shaft out and then of course slammed it right back into the transmission. The yoke was smashed, the trans smashed and loose and we broke Kory’s ratchet strap. šŸ˜‚
Luckily no one was injured too bad- maybe a smashed hand, fingers, eyeballs.. - besides the point. They’re all okay now šŸ˜‚

Anyways! But Everyone jumped into help us.
With no extra yoke on the trailer- files, sawzaws, grinders were all put to work in an attempt to fix it.
Trans was pulled, and replaced. (Thankful for our spare!)

Not going to lie, there was one point where time was running out & Kaleb was done. (Admittedly or not)
Officials came around, changing the running order and a little glimpse of hope was restored.

Seeing what else was going on, Kaleb crawled back under the car leaving all the hope for that yoke in Eric Hunter and H&N Fabrication’s hands.

ā€œI saw them cutting the yoke and said I’m just gonna crawl back under hereā€

Miracles were worked, trans in, driveshaft back in, clutch bled and all the pieces were put back together.

We weren’t entirely sure we would be leaving with a car moving under its own power, let alone finishing the feature. But we did it. Finishing 3rd. šŸ„‰

At the end of the race, many bolts from pockets were dropped back off to the trailer.
So we are thankful we have 2 weeks to get back through the car and fix or replace the rear end.

Thankful that Kaleb has the history of running different cars, because every time he gets in this one.. it’s different.

Once again thank you to every single person who helped out in any way shape or form.

The support, the kindness, the willingness to help Kaleb is much more appreciated than you’ll ever know.

Have a fantastic week everyone!
