Hey everyone!! 👋

No two ways around it, the Blue Sky socials have taken a bit of a back seat this year to being a new mom ❤️

BUT the sun is OUT and this girl is ready to get back out on two wheels…more regularly!

Got out on the jump trail last week and remembered just how good it feels to get off the ground! ✈️ (too busy smiling WAY too big, only got one 🤳)

2025 and now I’m a mom. Ending this year feels so good. So complete.

But the truth is, I’ve felt a lot like a child at times over the past 12 months…
I was loved, supported, heard, helped, & hugged. I was reassured, & checked in on. I didn’t feel like I had the weight of the world on me, because the weight of my fears (and my literal 20 lb child) was passed around, and dispersed until it was barely there by family and friends.

Lucky is an understatement. I have no words.

I soaked up every minute. Now that’s all, goodnight. 🌙

The END of October?? HOWWW??

Honestly, I wish I had more riding content for you all.

I wish I could say I just got right back out there and took time for me, and it was all worth it because my mental health needed it, and it felt so great to have that “me time”.
Or that I felt like I kept up with my pre baby life in ANY way.
… but I’d be lying.

I had so many people around me offering to help so I could get out on my bike, but I didn’t WANT to. I wanted every baby snuggle, every minute, every thing.

I know bike rides will happen again, probably sooner than later 🤣 but for now.. I’m ok with taking it easy.
AND Bikes will always be there, that’s why they’re so cool.

Had the BEST surprise visit from mom and sister in law yesterday!! 38 weeks and feeling good but the count down is definitely on to meet baby boy!!!

Bike content to be continued… but for all of you out there getting on the trails without me, I’m jealous!!

I wish I knew then that real progress just TAKES TIME. ⏳
There’s some skills I’d LOVE to rush and get better at, but it takes:
- dedication to progressing a SPECIFIC skill
- consistency
- gaining knowledge
- just…time!

Be the one who sticks with it for the long haul!!
